The picture on the site makes the inside almost look silver but rest assured it is all black except for the silver undercut ring. That ring is a little harder to clean than other styles like 5 spoke etc. I hand selected a tire size other than the listed "recommended" size by using calculators and specs. This resulted in a near perfect replacement for the stock 16". The rec tire would have been taller and thrown the speedo off by more. I was also able to keep weight gain to 1 LB per corner as compared to the stock which were almost down to the wear markers so yes it was a near perfect 16"-18" upgrade. Since it is only a couple MM taller there were no clearance issues. The design flaw of this wheel is the raised ridge where it meets the tire. Unlike many rims that in combination with a nice protective tire bead are safer from curb damage, the GT5 juts out an edge just asking to be scratched. Cosmetically it is up to your taste. I personally love the low key flat black wheels that shift your focus to the car itself, or the brakes if you have them detailed. Reminds me of flat black weekend/track event wheels on sleeper performance vehicles. Quite the opposite of the heavy blingy, chunky chrome, rivets and all the other attention getting bells and whistles... The undercut rim can be blacked out or is tasteful if your car already has some detail bright trim. I wish the hardware would have had an option for black instead of chrome. I ended up getting a set of black hardware with locks and looks great with the silver ring on my car. Wish tirerack had a gallery for customers cars to upload. I would have jumped on these a long time ago if I had seen more pictures on cars.
