Very happy with the look of this wheel on the car. I am leaving the review to comment on the appearance of the lug nuts after four months in an Upstate NY winter. In a word, poor. severely pitted and corroded.

Other than that, satisfied with purchase.

I just bought a new VW GTI and wanted to replace the stock wheels. I was looking for something a bit different. Using Tire Rack's viewer, I selected these in size 18x8. Once ordered, they arrived very promptly. The car's original 225/40-18 Pirelli P Zero Nero all-season tires were mounted on them. The wheels look terrific and I have received many compliments, although I'm sure they're a little too "different" for people with more conservative tastes. I am extremely happy with them, and they are certainly something a little unusual in terms if style. The clearcoat finish is particularly impressive. I paid just under $600 for the set, including shipping, which is a bargain! As a bonus, they are very easy to keep clean. I'm sure that they are lighter than the stock wheels. I wish that Tire Rack had a way for wheel purchasers to upload photos of their cars with the wheels installed.

Had to return them for warrantee claim after they showed some corrosion thru only one winter. You should concider painted wheels as a winter alternative. Warrantee eventually worked out OK with Sergio's assistance.
