I learned from the first reviewers experience with his lug nuts and bought inside driven locking nuts, eliminating any chance of damage to the wheel from mounting. I would have thought that an experienced racer would have thought of this... Anyway, the wheels look great, the black lock nuts (purchased from ebay for $45, Tire Rack doesn't sell them for my car) add even more cache to the cars stance. Couldn't be more pleased with them, they are easy to clean, show off the brakes well and have a nice rich color. I have had many compliments from co-workers.

Learning experience -- Installed on NC 07 Miata for appearance & track performance improvement from 18" wheel/tire. 18's Worked well. Lug clearance makes tire changes & rotation a real pain in the neck.. TR furnished a socket with the wheels. But it barely allows working with lug nuts: scratiches wheels, binds, slows tire changes. If these will remain on your car between normal rotations, they are pretty wheels which balanced ok for me. If you plan rotating often at the track or mounting track tires weekly, you may want to look at a different wheel with much more room for lugs.

I have a gold 2000 LHS that had expensive factory chrome wheels that rotted from salt here in PA. Kept getting flats, had to make a change. Did not want to spend too much on an old car but wanted to reuse the tires. These wheels look like they belong, not too flashy and my garage thought they cost 3 times what I paid. Should have done it a year ago. Also, at least 10 lbs less per wheel lighter and you can feel the difference.
