I bought a 1997 Miata that the previous owner had heavy 17" rims on. I've been told that Miata's are very sensitive to extra wheel weight and light wheels should provide a better ride and handling. After quite a bit of research I settled on these due to the price and over all weight of the tire/wheel combo. The do ride nicer but I was expecting a more dramatic change. It was subtle. They look great however and I feel more confident driving.

After much research and review, I decided to move to from the stock 16's to 15 inch wheels on my Miata. The real world performance advantages of this size wheel are well documented on this light weight car. Having put some miles on them I must say I am very impressed with the improvement! It's dramatically improved the car on the less-than-perfect mountain roads where I live.
I looked many places for a wheel that combined the proper width, offset, and light weight with an economical price. It came down to the Konig Feather of the TRMotorsport C1M. The C1M is of course designed specifically for the Miata, and no hubcentric rings are required as with the Konigs. The TireRack shipped price was great, and included quality lug nuts and a lug adapter so the stock lug wrench still fits the new sized lug nuts.
These wheels are light, right at 13 pounds, and have a very nice finish. The color is nice, I think they should market it as "Titanium Grey". The offset is perfect for the Miata, filling the wheelwells very nicely. They have two valve stem positions, I suppose for an inner liner in racing applications.
I'm very happy with the purchase of these wheels and with TireRack.
