Overall, the idea is good. These are not designed for 19"+ wheels as they do not cover entirely. Basically you lay the cover over the exposed wheel face, and then stretch two elastic cords to each side of the wheel, using a locking alligator clasp to secure it to whatever wrap you have purchased to cover the tire (these will not work if they do not have something to attach to). The clasps are hard to operate, difficult to open, and frequently come undone as the elastic cord needs to be looped and knotted to the end of the elastic cord. Overall, they offer some protection but I would look at sturdy tire bags as a better solution.
