The stock brakes shuddered and shook the car almost every time I slowed from 70+. I replaced them with the Akebono pads. The rotors had about .003 runout . After a local shop ruined them I installed the Brembo replacement rotor. This combination greatly exceeded my expectations. Although I noticed a very slight increase in pedal pressure, this was negligible. After 35000+ miles, the rotors still have a nearly mirror finish. the pads still have at least 75%.

Good quality! Exactly what was described. I was nervous at first to get brakes online but now this is the only way I will do it from no on. Thank you

I wouldn t recommend these pads for track use. I installed them front and rear and they lasted five (!) sessions (about 40 laps). After about 30 laps they started shuddering violently and needed several cool-down laps to become effective again. On my last session I checked how much pad was left (about .75 cm) and went out. After two laps they failed completely, resulting in a high-speed slide off the track. Post-mortem showed the front pads had completely come away, leaving me with warped / scratched rotors that needed replacing. Brake fluid had boiled, so needed a complete flush and change of lines. The rear pads had plenty of material on them but the pad was cracked and coming apart in my hands, with a similar consistency to chalk. I was very disappointed in how quickly the pads crumbled under hard driving and would never use them again for track use - too dangerous.

For road use, I did notice they have much less brake dust than other pads but I d stick with non-ceramic pads for street use and dedicated track pads for racing. Will never use cross purpose (street / track) pads again, especially these ones. Buy something else.
