Very Impressive Pads. I upgraded from the stock BMW pads & rotors, and those were no slouch in terms of performance. The Stocks just created a phenomenal amount of dust, so they had to go.
I mounted the Hawk HPS pads with the Stoptech Cryo Slotted rotors and together they have seriously surpassed my expectations, especially in the wet. Plenty of bite once the pads are up to temperature (they do come up to temp fast). Great feel all the way through the range. Never had any issue with fade. They were a little noisy in the beginning, but as they broke in the noise diminished and the stopping power just kept getting better. Would absolutely recommend this set-up, just make sure to bed them in properly.

Love it! Best all around pads.

Comparing to OEM and Akebono euro ceramic.

The only thing good about the Akebono euro ceramic was that had less dust than these HPS s. And the euro ceramic had to warm up, and even then they had less power and feel. That s why I love these HPS, compared to the OEM. These HPS has better feel, more power when cold (braking power increased even more when warmed up), lower dust, less rotor wear, and cost less than OEM! You would be crazy to buy OEM!

I never tracked these so not sure on extreme conditions.

Oh by the way, my car was totaled because the Mini cooper behind couldn t stop in time :P

Good for street use, but doesn t withstand track use very well. Short life span under heavy grueling hot use.
