the 4.2 that I drive was equipped with the sport suspension, I switched to Eibach Pro springs and really liked them, but for the 3-4 Audi track events I do a year, the spring set up was just not enough, so I bought the H&R coilover set up with H&R sway bars. the change was dramatic, turn in is flat and overall control is amazing. Because I was riding on the Eibachs, the new set up really isn t much worse. even my wife likes the drive. what I have noticed is I do get a bit more FIRM bounce over expansion joints on the freeway. other than that i highly suggest this set up on any car, but definetly on the A6 s

These adjustable struts are so firm even on the lowest setting its not possible for both a sporty and comfortable ride. Frost heaves, expansion joints and potholes are horrible, usuall resulting in an awful cracking noise when especially severe.

The firmness is good in cornering but if you live where potholes and frostheaves are a normal every day thing I would recomend going with a shock that has a little more give. These shocks would not be a good choice for someone who lives in Northern New England as I do , because if the roads arent like glass your going to be swearing when you hit that first bump.
