Advanta ER-800 M+S Rated All Season Car Tire in 195/50R16

i am extremely pleased with these tires at this point. i have driven in the rain and puddles with no problems. very stable.

If you need comfortable cheap tires in a SET that have great traction an handle extremely well I would go for these… On the highway they’re smooth no vibrations an quiet compared to my last set the hummed… I did a quick burnout hit the brakes slammed the gas they broke loose but any tire would have I let off the gas as soon as the tires broke loose just to test out dry traction bc I couldn’t get them to spin on dry tar just using my gas pedal on a straight away… The wear has been fine nothing noticeable… The biggest thing for me was needing a cheap set to last me through the winter because I’m getting new rims for this Lexus in spring OEM Lexus rims because I’m restoring it and these are peeling and covered in brake dust… These were half the price of the next cheapest set and I would never ever buy Amazon or eBay China garbage tires or parts and I know tirerack would not sell them with out them being atleast a decent brand and I personally never heard of them but these will be used as my winter wheels once I get my new wheels because even tho I’m restoring this car to look mint condition I plan on dailying it and racking the miles up on it to have a high mileage mint condition vehicle is the goal… If it lets me I will be back to update should anything happen or I hire 10-20k miles… I’ve had them 4 months and live in in the north east and have had snow and ice since I’ve gotten these and they handle surprisingly like a snow tire in non deep snow an ice but I’m sure it’s because it’s brand new tread and I’m pretty sure they’re all seasons…

The tires were very affordable. They definitely make the car ride better and have excellent traction. Receiving the tires at home and having them put on at my leasure was way better than going to a tire shop and paying too much for the same tire

This is a good tie for a great price. I opted for a slightly taller tire than stock for more sidewall, mainly for a softer ride quality. These tires provide exactly what I was hoping for. Quiet, soft ride, and decent traction.

I bought these for a car that’s not driven very much so tread wear was not very important but noise and ride quality was. So far I’ve been pleased with the tires. Very little if any noise and the ride is great. Balanced easily and the price was nice too. I would recommend these tires.

This is the first set of tires that truly needed a break in period. The tires started off hard and noisey but after a couple of weeks the tires rode great cornered well and were quiet. I took the advice of the Tire Rack adviser and I’m very happy.

This tire is TERRIBLE in the rain. Bought this car for my fiancee and the dealer installed 4 new ER-800.
Never heard of Advanta tire, but thought they wouldn't be too bad if sold here on TireRack. But man, I was wrong.
They are comfortable and absorb imperfection on the road nicely, but they are noisy as a skinny tires(195/65r15).
For everyday use I have no complains, until it rains. I have only driven this tire in the rain once, and it is bad enough that I am looking at new tires already.
I was in traffic on a bridge in the rain cruising at about 25mph, and the drive tires spun and traction control kicked in everytime when I drove over the metal plates between the bridge segments. It was not under heavy acceleration, but a consistent cruise at 25mph climbing up the bridge.
They are good in the dry, I actually like their smoothness, but for our safely I will replace them with better wet performance tires.
I won't recommend the Advanta unless for someone with seperated summer and snow tires and is on a budget.

Even treadwear. 6,000 mile rotations. Currently have 45,000 miles on them. All read 5/32nds tread remaining. Zero issues. Will replace with the same tire.
