Continental CrossContact LX20 with EcoPlus Technology 

These tires are very good in wet or dry conditions. The wear is awesome after almost 70000 miles still have 4/32 of tread. Planning on buying a new set today!

I bought this tire to replace Bridgestone's on my MB ML 500. What a difference, seemed like it took a 1,000 miles to wear them in but this is a great tire for the money. Great ride comfort, handling, reduced road noise, excellent in wet conditions. Have only experienced minor snowfall with them so can't comment on their performance in snow. Highly recommend these for the money.

Best tire to date for our XC90 V8.

Pros-
Wet driving - really confidence inspiring
Wear - best wearing tire to date on the XC90, which chews tires every 20k in past, and we are at 11K and only 2/32nd down (8 to go)
Dry - work really well
light snow - pretty good
deep snow - just ok
Smooth - almost as smooth as the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season (the smoothest so far)
Fuel economy - on par with other low rolling resistance tires on car

Cons -
slightly twitchy
not as precise as the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season were
Look skinny when viewing from tread side (only an ascetic thing)

Past tires on this car:

A. OEM Michelin Pilot HX MXM 4 (worst of the 4 different types of sets)
B. 2 sets of Kuhmo KL51 (had thrown in the towel to cheap tires due to high wear and not a lot of options at time, but were very good at time tire)
C. Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season (great at first, majority of siping wore away by half tread depth and became more and more slippery as it aged, replaced early)
D. Conti LX20 (best to date)

Only regret, not going up a size to the 255 tire, these look skinny (the Pirelli looked the widest)

Best tire I ever had on my armada. Snowed next after day after install. So I experienced what tire is capable of. Excellent in snow and slush and mind you I used only rear wheel drive. Excellent on dry road super quiet, very responsive will update on wear.

These came as OEM tires on our 2021 Yukon XL. After 53,000 miles, they're being replaced with another set - hands down the best OEM tires we've had on a new vehicle. These have done well through our Wisconsin winters and with some off-road, the only time I've had an issue was after ~40k miles, in 12" of fresh snow on an unpaved fire lane we could go no further (but they still got us out). We've always run Michelin Defender LTX's but these are also in that camp!

We love these tires!
We bought them after the stock tires on our Fisker completely disintegrated at just 10,000 miles. My wife and I wanted to try something new, and she was especially excited to hear these had great snow traction. Plus, they were cheaper than the OEM tires — and frankly, we refused to buy those again.

So far, they're a solid 9/10 across the board (because there's always room for improvement).
Dry traction: great.
Wet traction: great.
Wet snow traction: surprisingly superb!

My wife was convinced I’d get stuck in the snow, but she was shocked (and relieved) when I made it home without a scratch.

I bought the Contact LX20 when my 2014 CRV had 2,000 miles because these are .75 inch wider than the OEM Contact. These tires had performed as reviewed, especially in heavy, light and deep snow. The ran smooth and quiet in on dry surface and went around corners with confidence. They really compliment my CRV. At 20,000 miles they still look new. However, my next set would be True Contact which is a step better from the review. I plan to buy it for my 2016 CRV also.

Love driving my Cayenne as it is supposed to be driven - hard. I look for a tire that will meet my rigorous demands, but also will last longer than a cycle of 4 seasons. I've put just over 30K miles on these and have been very impressed with them. Last winter I went skiing and we got dumped on - 22" in 24 hours. I plowed the Cayenne through 16+" of snow on multiple occasions that weekend - SUV is just an animal in the snow when you turn the Traction Control off. Thanks to the awesome AWD, driving on 4-6" of snow on paved roads felt just like driving them when they were dry. It was actually unnerving at first, b/c I wasn't sure if the tires were gripping. Turns out they just gripped so well it didn't feel that much different that driving on regular road conditions.

We did get some hard rains yesterday, and I did experience a little potential for hydroplaning - but again - these tires probably only have half of their life left on them. Was a little disappointing to feel that - but natural degradation will happen with anything. Any tire mounted on a Porsche that you can get more than 50K+ miles on is a real treat, in my opinion. I'm hoping for at least 60K on these before figuring out my next purchase. Pirelli has a few tires that came out recently that look pretty decent - but I am a big fan of customer reviews and rankings - will wait and see what general feedback comes in on the newer tires.

Very smooth and quiet. Wear has been even and better than expected with 7+/32nds remain after 30k miles. Not really sporty feeling . Prior Pirelli Verde Plus had a somewhat nicer feel but no better in performance and not as smooth and quiet but were very good. Pirellis wore somewhat faster, too. Rarely experience any hydroplane or slight slipping issues on highway or around town so high traction rating. Very light feel. MPG was not as good as Pirelli Verde Plus (1-2 mpg loss) . Ride is a bit bouncy around town and highway driving ,which is a problem with this vehicle, but better than the factory Goodyears and not as good as the Pirellis. Tires look a little narrow and have an odd looking tread pattern as a negative. Smoother, quieter, longer lasting than Pirellis, with mpg and some feel negatives. Very good tires.

These tires replaced the originals that came on my 2011 Volvo XC90. Those were also Continental, but a different model and a slightly different size. The original tires needed replacement at 30k miles.

At the time of replacement, I went for the 255/55R18, which are an approved size to go on the original wheels. These tires were slightly wider (in millimeters) than the originals and I much preferred this. This slight size change (and the better tires) made the ride in the Volvo feel even more secure. We have had two very snowy winters since I've had these tires and they were great. I drove in active blizzard conditions last year, when the tires already had 30k miles on them, and I felt totally secure. My daughter goes to school in Connecticut and there were plenty of days I had to drive in poor conditions from NJ to CT - and was totally happy with these tires.

At this point, with 42k miles on them, I'm ready to replace. They are starting to feel less grippy on wet roads, and in case it snows in the next couple of months, I'm ready to have new tires. And i'm considering ordering the exact same ones . . .

These tires replaced the Kumho Solus KL21's that came on my mother's Santa Fe when new. The Kumhos gave good service and went a respectably solid 40,000 miles before becoming marginal, but they were always a hard-riding tire. The Santa Fe is the SE V6 model with the sport suspension, so it does have an overly firm ride to begin with, but the Continental LX20 has transformed it into a much more civilized vehicle overall. The car still has a pleasantly firm ride and handles very well, but it is not fidgety and punishing like it was with the original equipment Kumhos.

Wet traction is greatly improved as well. My mother has called me many times to tell me how much more secure the car feels to her now. I also have these tires on my 2000 Land Rover Discovery (different size, of course), and I highly recommend them.

Had these tires for quite a while and they performed great with the abuse they were put through. Much better than Michelin mx which I will never buy again. These were put through highway, city, gravel, wet, snow and slush with no problem over 5 years.

Factory tires lasted 30,000 miles and should have been replaced at 25,000 in all honesty. I'm now at almost 98,000 miles and just at the ware bars. I rotate frequently, front to back only. Longest waring tires I have ever had. While not superior at all of the ratings they do perform good in all and great in most of them. I live in California in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Mostly I drive paved curvy mountain roads back and forth to work. I am an avid kayaker, packed dirt roads and cobblestoned beaches presented me with no problems. They did well in light snow. Nothing short of studded tires and caution work on ice, I find that rating somewhat amusing. Not as good in deep snow but these are street tires. I'm about to purchase another set. Bargain of the century.
