Grand Touring All-Season run-flat tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. They are for drivers who want a combination of a sophisticated appearance, competent handling and H-speed rated (or higher) durability, along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Grand Touring All-Season run-flat tires branded with the M+S symbol and are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sophisticated coupes and luxurious performance sedans.

O.E. Grand Touring All-Season run-flat tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. run-flat tires' performance category and specifications.

NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Though they cannot be labeled as run-flat tires, tires branded with MOExtended or MOE on their sidewalls offer run-flat-like characteristics by delivering limited temporary extended mobility after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. Because MOExtended or MOE tires do not have the same speed and distance endurance of conventional run-flat tires, they should not be substituted in any situation where a conventional run-flat tire is required. To confirm what your vehicle needs, check our Original Equipment tire listing for your year, make and model or see your vehicle owner's manual.

What a difference tires can make! I replaced the stock Goodyear Eagle F1 with these Continental's. The ride is so much better, the noise level is almost non existent and the wet traction is amazing. No snow yet to test. Highly recommend you consider these tires!

...Wet traction is excellent. Hydroplane resistance is some of the best I've ever seen, and the wet traction is nothing short of impressive. Wet traction is probably the single most redeeming feature of these tires...

These are the O.E. tires for my vehicle. They are run-flat type tires, and the typical ride that comes along with that is there with these tires. They are not unbearably harsh like some other run-flats, but definitely harder riding than non run-flat tires that I've used. Noise is far worse than expected, and while they are whisper quiet on smooth asphalt, they are extremely noisy on new asphalt and any concrete sections.

Dry traction is decent, especially for a Grand Touring tire, but it isn't particularly responsive and has an ever-so-slight delay in turn-in feel. They do not inspire a lot of confidence when pushing them hard through a turn or on an off (or on) ramp, as the lateral grip just seems to fall away pretty quickly.

Wet traction is excellent. Hydroplane resistance is some of the best I've ever seen, and the wet traction is nothing short of impressive. Wet traction is probably the single most redeeming feature of these tires.

Light snow traction is pretty good. For 3 inches or less of snow, these do a decent job, especially slushy or wet snow. Deep snow traction is not as good. They will do an adequate job, but I would not call them confidence inspiring in for anything over 3 inches deep. Can say how they would do on ice, but on packed snow or powder, they should be driven with extra caution.

Can't speak to wear, since they only have 3500 miles on them at this point. They aren't showing unusual wear and don't seem to be wearing too fast so far.

These tires are very comfortable, low noise and perform very well in wet and dry conditions for summer and fall. I have driven them the past 2 weeks in snow and ice conditions in Chicago and they do fairly well in light and moderate snow with some ice. They are not as good in snow as dedicated snow tires, which I have owned before with similar cars, but certainly passable . In fact I have usually purchased dedicated winter tires and I may forgo with this tire and use them year around. From a practical standpoint, there are no run flat options available on tire rack for winter tires that fit this car and would have to go with Nokian which is not offered here to make the change.

...I'm not a fan of run-flats but they seem to be holding up very well on the edges and the handling has been very secure in all weather conditions including up to 6" of snow...

I have 14,000 miles on these tires which were OEM on my GLA250 4Matic Edition One. They ride a little harsher than I would like but I've become used them. So far, they seem to be wearing evenly and at this rate it looks like they should be good for about 30k miles. We've been rotating every 5k as per the dealers recommendations. I'm not a fan of run-flats but they seem to be holding up very well on the edges and the handling has been very secure in all weather conditions including up to 6" of snow. I'll likely have to replace them prior to turning the car in off lease as it's a 3 year, 45k lease and I'm planning on putting the same model on. There is a limited selection of tires in this size and these seem to be a very good option. I noticed the same tire on another Mercedes belonging to a friend and it's a new S-coupe so I'm reasonably confident Mercedes views this as a premium tire. I'll post again at 20k.

...Ride comfort is real good...

Tires are staggered sizes for the 2105 C300 with sport package so you can not rotate them. Time will tell about tire wear. Tires handle and perform well in both wet and dry conditions. Ride comfort is real good. Wish I could De-stagger the car and just ride with one size tires so that rotation could be done. MB dealer said if I De-staggered the set up that odometer and other calibration stuff would be effected. Not sure if this is B/S or not.
If I can get 25,000 out of these without any rotation I will be surprised, but if I do then I would recommend. Anyway only time will tell on this. At this point, yes I would recommend these.

I put these on my BMW and love them. Very good treadwear. The biggest problem with them going bald quickly is the car's alignment and setup. My 535i sedan is not an aggressive or sports car. The alignment is very neutral and I'm getting very even and very long lasting wear on these. Will buy them again if they stay the most affordable option.

I own a Mercedes C300 and they came with Continental ProContact GX Tyres. The tread life on them lasted me 27477 miles before my rear tyres reached the 3/32. My rear tyres are R18/40/245, and my front tyres are R18/45/225. My front wear was slightly less at 4/32 thread life left. Overall, I did not face any major issues with these tyres. I would have expected them to last at least 35000 miles, but considering I cannot rotate the tyres, I think the tyre life is fairly good. Just replaced them with the same tyres.
