Most customers give 9s and 10s for wet traction, praising confident handling in rain. Some scores between 7-8 still reflect positive performance for all-terrain use.

...The wet traction is awesome and I now feel comfortable in my truck...
Just came out of Toyo Open Country AT2's which were the scariest tires in the wet of any car I've ever driven in my 56 years. So much so I refused to let my wife drive the truck in the rain. 2016 F150 2.7 Ecoboost 4x4. From a dead stop with light to moderate throttle, they would spin through 2-3 gears and on freeway clover leafs it was white knuckle wondering when the rear end would kick out. Had enough after 10,000 miles so I went to my tire shop to trade them in on these Continentals.Still cost me money to get out of them, but with every penny to do so. The shop didn't stock them and didn't know about them, but after my extensive research I demanded them and am so happy I did.
(1) Wet traction is awesome and I now feel comfortable in my truck. (2) much quieter than my previous tires----this is a big bonus. (3) they look great. They are perfect blend of rugged looks with superior handling, ride quality, etc. This is what most of us want, as we have all seen trucks on the road with A/T or M/T's that never have a spec of dirt on them!! LOL.
I am 98% on the road with a 45 mile round trip commute daily with occasional off road and snow a few times a year in the Sierra Nevada.
Bravo Continental you nailed it!!! As long as I drive a truck, this is going to be the only tire I purchase. Hopefully you'll still be making them when these wear out.

...These Terrain Contacts are quiet, grippy, great cornering/handling and VERY rain/wet road capable. Did a 10 hour drive to Portland, dry on the way up and pouring on the way back down. They were great in the heaviest rain...
Upgraded to these from Bridgestone Ecopias at 7k on my 2017 Jeep GC Overland. Ecopias were great but wanted more aggressive snow and off road capable tires. Always liked the General brand and they show through these Conti's since Conti bought General.
After 2,000 miles I am very impressed. These Terrain Contacts are quiet, grippy, great cornering/handling and VERY rain/wet road capable. Did a 10 hour drive to Portland, dry on the way up and pouring on the way back down. They were great in the heaviest rain squall. Hit a real deep section and they did just as well. They felt like they were going to break free and never did. Saw snow but haven't had a chance to drive in it or in the dirt yet but that will come soon and will report back once I do.

...I only changed out because winter was coming still had excellent dry and wet road traction...
This is my second set of these the 1st set had 40000 with 6/32 remaining. I only changed out because winter was coming still had excellent dry and wet road traction. 50 % of my mileage is towing a 5th wheel. These are a great tire.

This is my 5th month on these tires, living in Northwest New Jersey. Tires are excellent ! Just finished with a huge snowstorm Stella. We have taken 7 trips to upstate NY tires are quiet on the highway , smooth solid ride , with great handling The only negative and its a biggie is I lost 2 miles per gallon on highway compared to OEM Goodyear Fortera .

Spectacular all round tire. We live in Arizona so this time of year within an hour drive we can experience snow, mud, rain, dry desert, rocks etc. we spend a lot of time on the weekends camping and mostly on Forrest service roads in the back country. During the week normal highway commute. These tires are awesome. We’ve taken them everywhere and no issues. Surprised at how quiet they are on the highway and exceptional on the roads less traveled. I was pretty limited with tire types due to vehicle wheel sizes and couldn't be happier with the stellar performance Should’ve bought these sooner.

...Dry traction is average to great, but the Sorento is not a corner-carver to begin with. Sudden acceleration is sometimes met with wheelspin, this is one of the areas where this tire is a bit weak...
These tires were specifically oversized on this vehicle so I could take advantage of the rebate available on the Continental TerrainContacts last year. They are not available in the OEM 235/60/18 size, and I installed a 245/60/18 on the vehicle (less than 1/2" larger in height). No problems with this size on stock wheels.
The tires look very aggressive on the Sorento, especially when compared with the over-sized passenger car tires that it has had previously. The old tires were worn to the treadwear bars, so everything about the TerrainContacts was a marked improvement.
Hydroplaning resistance is really good for such a chunky off-road biased road tire. These tires easily push the water out from the tread contact patch quite easily even at highway speeds. Dry traction is average to great, but the Sorento is not a corner-carver to begin with. Sudden acceleration is sometimes met with wheelspin, this is one of the areas where this tire is a bit weak. Off-roading has been limited to driving across school green spaces and occasionally across dirt roads. The tires exude confidence in these conditions as well.
So far, the driven wheels are wearing a bit quicker than the non-driven rear wheels. I need to rotate them frequently to get the most life out of them.

I need comfort and least amount of noise... I love these tires great comfort and very little road noise...
I put 30,000 miles plus a year on my Jeep lots of interstate and some minor off-road . I need comfort and least amount of noise and living on Mississippi coast I needed good wet pavement tires. I love these tires great comfort and very little road noise and no problem with wet weather. I have 45,000 on these and I will probably get 55,000 easy and will purchase again

...These tires are surprisingly quiet and wear excellent for someone that doesn't always rotate their tires regularly...
Hands down the best set of tires I've ever purchased! I think this set still has another 15-20,000 miles left on them. These tires are surprisingly quiet and wear excellent for someone that doesn't always rotate their tires regularly. These tires perform really well and look great on my truck. I will never buy anything else for my truck.

...No doubt that these will likely last a very long time since they are 10 ply and the 2 door Bronco is such a light vehicle, I will replace them long before they are worn out!...
I have a 2 door Bronco, bought a set of Badlands wheels and needed tires for the wheels - these Continentals were highly rated - and I've had great experience with Continentals in the past on my X5, so buying these was an easy choice.
While they are exceptionally quiet on-road - just as I had hoped - note they are E-load rated. That is a 10-ply tire. They are HEAVY, and they are super stiff! After several days of very uncomfortable driving when I first got them, I aired them down to 32psi - which makes them tolerable on-road. The C-load or standard P (passenger) rated tires will give a much softer, better on-road experience.
No doubt that these will likely last a very long time since they are 10 ply and the 2 door Bronco is such a light vehicle, I will replace them long before they are worn out! I just don't do enough real wheeling to justify dealing with the very stiff on road manners of these tires.
So....just my experience driving with these E-load tires on a fairly light vehicle - they are exceptionally good as far as being quiet, handling well on dry and wet road conditions. But if you are looking for a nice soft ride, pass on these. Look for the standard BFG KO2's that are C-load, or even the Bridgestone or Yokohoma tires that are P-load if you do 95% of your driving on road.

...All previous AT tires have needed to be swapped out around 40k miles. These currently have a little over 54k miles and have seen 2 decent winters, currently have under 1/4 tread left on them and I will swap them for a new set before this winter, which will put them over the 60k mile mark...
These tires do not disappoint! First set of tires that have left me feeling like I wanted to leave a review. These are on my 14 Grand Cherokee Overland, on my SUVs I tend to lean towards a All terrain tire versus a high performance all season so I can get the get the most out of them in a new England winter, and these have not disappointed. All previous AT tires have needed to be swapped out around 40kmiles. These currently have a little over 54k miles and have seen 2 decent winters, currently have under 1/4 tread left on them and I will swap them for a new set before this winter, which will put them over the 60kmile mark. But they have performed very well, I drive in a spirited manner and tow a decent amount and these have yet to lose traction or leave me second guessing. They are quiet on the highway and have great traction in rain, snow or dry conditions. Highly recommend these tires. I always do a good amount of research on tire rack prior to making a decision and these live up to the hype.
