Cooper  Discoverer EnduraMax

Installed these approximately 30 days ago/2500 miles in early February 2020. I previously had on Firestone FR710 which came new with the car from the dealer. I initially noticed that the tires were much more smoother and had better responsiveness to them. They have much better wet traction and we had a snow storm not long after installing these and they lived up to their severe snow rating and did significantly better in light/deep and packed snow. I felt much more safer with these tires combined with the AWD of the SUV.

had Michelin Latitude HP (OEM) tire and never liked them in the snow. These are much better. Wet traction is about what I expect..any short comings is more the tall vehicle than the tire. Impact noise is noticeable but far from troubling. Nice job Cooper.

Have only used had the tires a few weeks, but they have seen rain and snow on both city roads and the highway. They have performed great in adverse conditions and provide great traction on snowy backroads. They are also smooth and decently quiet in the highway. Previous tires were in a bad way, so the upgrade to these has been very noticeable. Have the same Coopers on another vehicle and have had the same positive experience there too.

I was shocked at how great these tires performed in the winter. I would definitely consider buying another set in the future. They are very smooth on the highway and on city streets. I cant wait to see how they do this summer.

I really appreciate being able to discuss my driving circumstances with Tire Rack to obtain an apt recommendation. Hydroplaning and wet leaves had been a problem. These tires handle that and my dirt road well. There is some noise on grooved freeway surfaces, but I only encounter that infrequently and Tire Rack warned me of that possibility. I like getting my tires at Tire Rack!

I only have 1000 miles on the tires but at the moment I am very satisfied. I moved off BFG tires because of puncture failures. The ride feels improved. I caught the end of the 2024 Thanksgiving snowageddon in NW PA. The tire performed amazing in the snow. I had an 80 foot driveway that was full of 2.5 feet of snow. I was able to punch through and put the car in the garage when we got home. Can't wait to see how this tires wear.

I purchased these as part of a wheel/tire package. The folks at Tire Rack did a fantastic job of installation, from new TPMS sensors and balance, it was a great purchase. I have a little over 1000 miles on them, and so far so good. Dry traction has been fantastic and I have driven through some heavy rain and street flooding. I have not been able to force them into a hydroplane situation, so my confidence with these have been great. We haven't had any snow fall here yet, so I can't comment on that yet, but I feel they will be good to go when it does eventually happen. My van is a brick on wheels and not known for being a quiet van (with Stow and Go seats), so the first 400-500 miles I could hear a low humming noise from these tires (which didn't bother me). Now that I am a bit over 1000 miles, the humming sound has gone away (kind of liked that sound lol). When alone I drive the van far more spirited than with my family, and these tires have handled my "faster than normal" cornering speeds. I really can't complain about these tires and can recommend them to my fellow mini vans dads out there. I am hoping to get 4 years from these tires, with scheduled rotations.

Way better than the OEM tires. Have driven across the state of Colorado multiple times in all kinds of weather: Dry, Rain, Snow, mixed. Over passes, on the interstate, twisty two lane roads and in torrential rain. Have also made multiple trips up 10 miles of gravel road to get to a cabin at 8,000 feet. No hydroplaning, sliding, skidding or issues with traction in snow. Tires performing as advertised and have improved the handling of the Tiguan. Mileage is also better than with the original tires and not showing any signs of wear. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy again.

Have only just gotten these tires, so not much info so far.
Much quieter than the Continentals that were on the car from the dealer. Very comfortable ride.
The choices of where we drive don't cover what we do: a mix of paved and dirt roads, plus in town, some highway.
Would like to give more input after they've been in use longer, like late winter and next spring during mud season.

These are my initial impressions of the Cooper Enduramax tires for my wife's Crosstrek. I choose tires for family safety here in New England that have excellent wet and light snow performance ratings. If the price of the original Yokohama Geolander tires that came on the car weren't so expensive, I would have bought another set. They were still legal after 75000 miles but naturally we're getting a little hard and not channeling water as well. Many tires in this size have higher load ratings for heavier SUVs but I didn't want to compromise ride quality. So, what do I think? The straight through grooves are wider than I expected from the photos, so they tend to pick up and hold a few half inch or less pebbles. The upside is hydroplaning on a wash or large shallow puddle is non-existent. They are very quiet and handle pavement transitions on bridges comfortably. Tread squirm was a little disconcerting during break in but directional stability is good now. Only had one light snow storm so far and they handled it competently. Very few tire weights were needed to balance them but I now have detected a vibration at about 70 mph after about 1500 miles. Never had that with the Yokohamas. Overall a very good value. I'm 70 years old, and own a small collection of sportscars, racecars, and a few motorcycles. Trust these for your daily driver. Probably update my review in a year or so to let you know how they progress.

I have only put about 2,000 miles on them but am very happy with these tires so far. Much smoother, quieter and better performance than the OEM tires. Have yet to experience how they will handle in snow but will report back after the winter season.

After doing a lot of research (and I mean A LOT), I finally settled on these tires for my girlfriend's '06 Ford Escape. They got good reviews from many sources, and the price was excellent. I took them to a local Pep Boys to have installed, and I haven't had a single issue with them yet. Only have about 5k on them, as we waited a few months to get them installed.

They are decently quiet and quite smooth on roads and highway, and don't seem to get too terribly hot. They don't make more than about average road noise (the Escape is not the most road-quiet car in the world), and seem to be wearing evenly with no abnormalities.

This is my first-ever experience with Cooper, and they seem to be a reputable brand. These tires don't seem to be the BEST (Michelin/Pirelli/Continental quality), but they are definitely a very nice step up from entry-level "value" brands. For the price, I don't think I could've found a better value with performance vs price. 60k-mile warranty seems pretty standard in this category, so can't really complain there.

I highly recommend these Cooper Discoverer Enduramax tires if you have a smaller SUV that doesn't need any kind of LT-style tire.

These tires performed like a champ in all conditions! I have purchased Michelin tires all my life, but my mechanic recommended I try these Cooper tires, and I'm glad he did. These are the best tires I have ever owned in my 65 years of driving all over the USA. I highly recommend them.
