The Azenis FK460 A/S is Falken's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire for drivers of sport coupes, muscle cars, performance sedans and CUVs, and sport EVs (Electric Vehicles) seeking reliable dry grip, confident wet handling, and capable light snow traction as well as comfort, and reasonable tread life.

Falken Azenis FK460 A/S callouts

The Azenis FK460 A/S utilizes an Advanced Nano 4D compound molded into an asymmetric tread design featuring large, high-grip chamfered tread blocks, engineered to deliver competent dry grip and heightened cornering capability at higher speeds. A wide footprint maximizes contact with the road surface for optimal traction, while strong shoulder blocks amplify high-performance handling in dry conditions. Full-depth emerging grooves enhance wet traction when new and expand as the tire wears for improved wet weather performance throughout the tire's life. Four circumferential grooves provide ample pathways to generous lateral shoulder voids for efficient water evacuation and hydroplaning resistance. Transverse notches provide biting edges for enhanced all-season traction and combine functionally with interlocking sipes on the inboard section for reliable traction in slush and light snow.

Internal construction of the Azenis FK460 A/S consists of two high-tensile steel belts atop a reinforced two-ply polyester casing. A polyamide cap ply further stabilizes the tread for high-speed handling and durability.

Limited sizes of the Azenis FK460 A/S are available with Falken's Silent Core technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

I am impressed with the set of Faulken Azenis 460AS tires. My QX50 handles far better than the Bridgestone tires that the factory put on it. My Faulken tires are quieter and stop sooner. I have driven these tires in heavy rain, with puddles, and experienced no hydroplaning at 75 mph, which is impressive for wide 245/45/ZR19 tires. Additionally, these tires gave great traction on muddy roads due to heavy rains in south Texas lately. I like this tires and will buy them again.

Replaced the original OEM Pilot Sport 4 all seasons with these. The Falkens were more quiet, rode less harsh and had every bit of the dry and wet traction that the Michelins were famous for. I actually like the Falkens better than the All Season Pilots. If you have a Model 3 AWD Long range or Performance, the Falkens are definitely worth a look. I’ve driven these almost three thousand miles and even the wife noticed they were quieter and less harsh over bumps and expansion joints than the Michelins. Definite upgrade over the Michelins and for 1/2 the price per tire.

Awesome UHP A/S tire at a great price point! Great dry and wet traction; snow is an unknown as it's a 3 season car! As a convertible, it's extremely quiet....top down, who cares! Definitely would recommend and would buy again! Rides and handles so much better than the OE Goodyear Run-Flats!

...Great handling, very responsive in rain and icy road conditions. We haven't had any real snow to speak off but what we have had these tires work great

Was in need of tires do to pot hole damaging the sidewall on a DWS Continental tire. In the long run made better sense to replace all four for the coat of two tires. I have no regrets on switching to these. Great handling, very responsive in rain and icy road conditions. We haven't had any real snow to speak off but what we have had these tires work great

Once driven on for about 300 miles, these FK460 tires really begin to stick to the ground. My tire spin is noticeably harder to attain on dry roads...which is what I want. I bought tires that are +1 from stock, and these ride very comfortably. Firm and controlled. Handling for an ultra all season is pretty top notch, but still gotta take it easy coming out of a corner in the wet. Lotsa torque thru both rear wheels will still kick out the rear end easily on a damp/wet 20mph corner, but recovering from oversteer is a bit faster due to the tires being more responsive...and the lower profile (went from 50s to 40s) helps firm things up overall too. At this point, I would recommend purchasing.

...second, they are stickier, i.e., it is harder to break the rear end free (driving on the same roads & curves)...

To give you some context, I live in a rural area with miles and miles of beautiful, windy country highways, roads and lanes—as well as miles of gravel roads— on which I drive fairly aggressively (or "spirited," using Tire Rack terminology). Think: on occasion, I will push things to the point where the rear breaks end free. I previously had two sets of Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires, with which I was reasonably satisfied with. I would get around 30,000 miles out of each set. So, needing a set of tires, and noticing that a set of (4) Falkens was about $100 less expensive than the Continentals (my girlfriend would tell you I'm cheap), I decided to give the Falkens a try. After ±500 miles, I would say they have been a pleasant surprise. Indeed, I have found no deficiencies. In particular, two things stand out when contrasted with the Continentals:

- first, they roll significantly smoother and quieter
- second, they are "stickier," i.e., it is harder to break the rear end free (driving on the same roads & curves)

Lastly, I don't imagine that they'll last any longer than the Continentals, given my driving style, so wear will likely be a push—but one never knows… Hope you found this review useful.

...Very pleased with the comfort and dynamic performance of the Falkens...

The Falkens are a great value tire. They replaced a set of Michelins on my 328 wagon. I can't say that the Falkens were in any way inferior to the prior Michelins. In one respect, they were far superior- price. Very pleased with the comfort and dynamic performance of the Falkens. Reccomended.

Overall, pretty happy with these tires! They do everything very well and are quiet!! I would give them a better or worse rating, but I'm not aggressive and I don't take chances to see the limits of the tires. They do exactly what I wanted without the price of Michelins. I did have one that was out of round, but Tire Rack took care of this for me pretty quick. I would definitely purchase again!

...Only good thing has been their tread life. Still at or above 7/32 after 13k miles.

Thought these would be a good all season tire, nope. In dry conditions it can't maintain grip and steps it unpredictably.

In heavy rain they have hydroplaned twice.

Light snow? Nope. Forget about it.

...Even the thread wear and mfg warranty is better!

Been driving on these tires for about a month so far. Replaced my original equipment Goodyear tires. I can honestly say these tire's are as good if not better. Traction, braking, smoothness, and sound are actually better. I was going to just replace them with the same OE but I saved over $400 dollars and I'm very happy so far with this purchase. Even the thread wear and mfg warranty is better!
