Firestone FR710 

I bought my jeep with 42,000 miles on it and I have 108,500 now. I did all those miles in 13 months of driving. I mostly drive highway but am also in the city as well. I have to say they've held up pretty nicely with treadwear. I'm still driving with them. I can easily out another 10-20k miles on them which is what I am planning on doing before I buy another set of 4 tires. These handle great in dry,wet, and snow. I was surprised how well they handled on 4wd in the snow with barely any tread left on them. I never drive them in the snow with full tread. They did pretty well considering how much treat I have left this past winter. I'm another note since I do a lot of driving highway and city, they do take a beating. They are not the most durable. What I mean by that is I've had to replace 2 tired so far due to gashes from crap on the roads. I do drive in the city with a lot of potholes and i have a little more weight on the rear due to tools etc. I think these would perform great on a car and even a light suv like mine for normal driving. For a light suv if you do a lot of miles I would recommend a light suv tire. I'm going to the Firestone Destination LE2 in a couple of months. The reviews for those tires are great and if it's anything like these I'll have nothing to worry about. I need better thickness on the tire sidewalls for city driving and an all season that will last me 60k miles +. I know I will get 90kmiles on these tires and not has a lot to do with the frequency of tire rotation and keeping the right tire pressure. Tire pressure should be checked weekly although I've done it about 1-2 times a month. Loved theses tires. Would buy again if I didn't need a more load, heavier duty tire for the amount of driving I do. Hope this helps. I'll be doing a review on the Destination LE2 at about 30k and again on 60k.

I like the way these tires look, I like them when I am driving on a sunny day, but you add rain to the mix and I am afraid for my life. I feel like I could slide off the road at any time... put me next to a semi-trailer while driving on the interstate in the rain, and I am praying to --- for my safety.

Firestone FR710 P215-60 R16. Very good overall 3-season (in New England) tire. Offers good traction, tread life, and they are quiet on all road surfaces. If you maintain good tire pressure and rotate them, they will last a long time and provide good road feel, even down to the wear bars. I do swap them off for four winter tires for the three winter months in New England. But if caught in a late fall snow storm, they perform with better than expected traction (front drive Chevy Cruze) in snow and icy conditions. These tires have never let me down. They were original equipment on the Cruze, lasted well into the mid 60,000 miles. I like them so much I now have a new set on the car. Looking to get another 60-65k miles out of this set.

Excellent tire. Very smooth ride. Excellent on wet pavement and in rain.Can't believe how long tread is lasting, tires are 5 years old. Hope I can get them again.

Bought my 2011 cruze in 2014 with 25600 miles on it with fr710 tires got 75000 miles out of them !so I bought them again and 2021 with my 2nd set I have 155200 miles ! I drive 66 miles a day for work highway and rotated my tires with every oil change averaging 25- 35 % oil life left 6000 miles - 7000 average on oil changes ! Love these tires price is great handles great and quite ! I keep the air pressure 32-35 psi I read the bad reviews and wonder am I lucky with these tires or its the cruze or the way I drive ? Replacing brakes / front for the first time this weekened back brakes still have 60% life left!I hope this review is helpful ! yes I will be buying fr710 again for my chevy cruze

I purchased my 2014 Chevy Cruze Turbo Diesel with 87,000 miles on it. New Firestone FR710's had just been installed. In 10 months I have driven 20,000 miles. I rotate the tires on every oil change which is about 5,000 miles. I also closely monitor tire pressure. My driving in western PA is 90% state 2 lane roads with a speed limit of 55 mph. The treadwear has been quite incredibly good compared to practically every other tire I've ever bought. I'm very pleased with the overall performance and will definitely purchase another set after these wear out - hopefully in about 40,000 more miles! Highly recommended!

Like it alot, wears great. I still have an original on my van with 49,000 on it, and it looks great. I would replace it for a good price.

I drive a lot of highway. Tire surpassed all my expectations. It is not a quiet tire. It is a good highway tire if you are looking for long term tread wear. I have winter tires but they are not necessary with these tires. Plenty of grip for light snow. They still have plenty of tread to go at 55,000 miles.

Pretty bad in icy conditions

These were original equipment tires on my 2016 Chrysler 300 C RWD. They lasted right at 35,000 miles which is quite a bit less that I expected. We have now entered our winter season and the wet road traction and light snow traction is really bad now. Last year they were much better but would not say they were great.

Decent tire for dry weather. However do perform poorly with any wet condition. ( Rain,snow, ice. Etc) but did last for a fair bit of time but will not be buying these again. They perform poorly in wet condition with a light vehicle. In dry condition they perform fairly well.
