General Grabber HTS 

I bought a set of General Grabber HTS' about two months ago. They are exactly what I wanted on this vehicle -- a good value, great in rain and snow, and acceptable for dry-weather driving. I've already taken two trips of around 500 miles and each time had opportunities to run them in snow. On an all-wheel-drive SUV I had no problems in up to 6 or 8 inches of snow, and only avoided deeper drifts because I didn't want to drag the bottom of the car and get stuck. I'd give them a "10" for rain and snow and a "7" for dry weather. Its' interesting that they make the steering feel a little lighter - enough where at highway speeds I sometimes have to pay attention to tracking straight (using the same pressure as prior tires). Not a problem just a minor note. Overall good tires.

8000 florida miles on new 2wd XD encourages me to write this review about GENERAL HTS GRABBER as OEM. super tires running 65psi and some light hauling around 50% HWY & TOWN mix. funny that i regretted not getting 4wd then i managed to climb out of some slippery wet sandy grass ditches without a tow! super proud of that actually. also testament to the locker. clearly NISSAN has some classy folks working there because they DO NOT use goodyear, which are not good for more than grinding into new sports fields. great ride and probably will buy again if nitto or yokes are sky high $$$$$

These are good tires, smooth and pretty quiet with a little bit of a high pitched tone at highway speeds depending on road surface. Traction is excellent for wet and dry, good on snow when driven appropriately. Treadwear is good and they seem to wear evenly.

Installed these tires before a trip out to Idaho. The area we were in was hit hard by sub freezing temps and snow. These tires handle the dry,
snowy, and Icy roads with confidence. Whether in two wheel drive on a snowy intersate to a 4x4 mode on county back roads these tires were very impressive for an all-season. Would I go into the deep stuff with these, absolutely not. However, for an all around town and traveling tire these are impressively quiet, good riding, and dependable tires. Thanks General!

These came nearly new on a used Honda Element that I acquired. They seem to be a really good fit for the car. They're relatively quiet and Hondas typically have a lot of road noise. They are quite pleasant on the highway, track and respond well. They do extremely well in light to moderate snow. I plan to buy them again.

I am a tough reviewer of tires, and maybe its because I came off of awful REVO's, but for the price, this is a darn good tire. I've got just shy of 30K on these things and they are still quiet and will last another winter/summer. The Santa Fe is a difficult vehicle to put a tire on - its a little trucky, yet it is stiffly suspended and wants to act a little sporty. In the end, you won't drive it like a sportscar, and these aren't sportscar tires, yet they fit the vehicle very well in terms of comfort and enough sport for you to feel safe on the off ramps. I've done plenty of winter driving on these and my Santa Fe is only FWD, but these things have handled all but pure ice very well. Don't feel in danger when there is some snow driving up north or to Packer games. Really nice tire for the application. Would recommend and would purchase again for sure.

These General Grabber tires are the same tires that were put on at the factory when new. The tires are quiet to go down the highway, provide good traction when wet or dry. I was happy with the performance of the original tires for wear and traction. Putting new tires on the truck made it ride like it was new again.

I've always had General tires and never had a problem. The HTS tires are very stable and provide excellent wet and dry traction. I have just under 50,000 miles on them and still have another 4/32 to go. I even made it through Blizzard Nemo on unplowed streets! I would highly recomend these tires to anyone!

Bought 215/70R-16 General Grabber HTS to put on my 2006 Honda Element 2WD about 3 months ago. Comfort, noise level, ride quality, tread wear have all been outstanding. For a tire priced under $100 these have preformed extremely well. I would buy these again.

This is a great tire, it's quiet, wears well, rides well and performs much better than the OEM tires that my Escape came with, if you're looking for a great tire, you can't go wrong with the General Grabber.

I have been mostly happy with these on my 2006 Toyota Highlander 4wd SUV. They ride comfortably and quietly in all conditions, though recently as the miles have added up, a slight bit of noise is noticeable. Excellent dry and wet braking/handling and resists hydroplaning very well. Good snow traction: got plowed in on the side of the street twice in Vermont during 12+ inch storms. Didn't have to dig out at all, just put the car in gear and climbed out/over 3-foot high piled up snow. Braking on slush and ice isn't a strength so I will be getting dedicated winter tires as I drive to the mountains a lot during the winter. Warranty is for 65k miles, I think I'll get 45k and then need to replace. Tread wear has been very even. Will be happy to get another set of these.

53K with 20K pulling 38ft 5th wheel across the country. Wear was excellent. Makes me think ones that did not get good wear did not have properly inflated. Nissan recommends 70 psi with 80 max while towing.

Buying again, I never get 50k + on tires

I bought my truck used with big knobby tires that made a lot of noise going down the highway, so I wanted something that had more of a highway tread with a load rating of at least D, I often carry a full load and these tires handled it with easy. I have had them just under 4 yrs and if I was better at keeping the tire pressure high I would expect at least another 10,000 miles. The sides of the tires have worn out yet the center has good tread left, a sign of under inflation. The tires where excellent on the freeway, and on the windy backroads I always felt very comfortable taking the curves quickly.

OEM provided tire with vehicle purchase. Tire 3+ years old, tread depth still 4 after 60k miles. Heavy highway, heavy snow, moderate off road, and what's a speed limit? HTS passed all I threw at it! Upgrading to HTS60 for even longer tread life. Heat dissipation great on long haul and travel. Several 1000 mile trips, 2x 2500 mile trips ... couldn't ask for better tire then General made the HTS60 anyway. I'll review that tire after 7500 miles.
