General Grabber X3 

Very satisfied with the X3 Off-Road performance ( Deep-Mud & Dry-Dirt & Wet Slippery Rocks + a little bit of soft sand - sorry no snow) ……., but particularly impressed with wet road/highway braking performance and highway speed running in torrential rain ( albeit slowed for safety), compared to others that I have experienced over many years. I feel safe with these X3 mud terrains on wet highways ( sealed roads). NB: Actually running on a 2007 4WD 3.0L Diesel Toyota Hilux Double-Cab ( in the Caribbean) and not a Tacoma as selected in the category of vehicle…,( but same size and type of Pickup-Truck as the Tacoma more or less). Also the X3s are quiet as I don’t hear any noise from these tyres; but I do run with windows up and air-con on.

Really great off-road tire. Especially mud. Not as great on the wet highway as my previous General AT2s but that is not what they are for.
Off-road in the pacific northwest they are pretty unbeatable.

95% city/highway driving. But the trails I have been able to take necessitate such a beast of a tire. Heavy-duty, tons of bite on rocks and loose dirt/mud have allowed me to crawl hairy trails with a s%#t eating grin. Love these these tires off road! May upgrade to 35's to fill the fender gap better next pair.

Ok, these tires KILLED my MPG's! Lost 5-6 MPG's at 70 MPH on flat, consistent driving versus stock 275/55x20 (which of corse were crap off road). These things are barely larger than stock but much heavier, 3.55 gears no good. 3.73 or better is needed to regain performance. Re-gear in the future...

On wet pavement, have never hydroplaned. However, long and wet corners on the freeway do not inspire confidence. High pucker factor.

Don't drive on ice, lol!

Get these tires if serious off-road travel is a must for you!!

Too early to tell on longevity, but traction wise is better the the wranglers with Kevlar that they replaced. These are load range E. Your never gonna get a luxurious ride. They were surprisingly quiet above 65 mph but you do hear road noise around 25 to 35 mph. I bought for snow and mud / dirt traction and have not been let down yet.

I’m very pleased with the grabbers so far my only complaint would be they aren’t great on ice pack, but they are a mud tire and I knew that buying them. But I love them in snow and slush! They also look awesome! Thumbs up from me!

These are the BEST tires I have ever had on my Jeep Rubicon unlimited! I absolutely love them I drive in all sorts of different terrain and snow, mud and rain, dirt and bumpy horrible hi ways in Alaska! the best tire I also had them Siped for snow, they are awesome and very stable and I feel safe with them on my Jeep. and they look cool too.

I used to run 33" Mickey Thompson baja MTZ and upgraded to 35" General Tire Grabber X3 and I have nothing negative to say about these tires, they are amazing. These are significantly more quiet than my smaller MTZ's and handle better. I drove them all around the mountains in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. I even took them on a 45 minute dirt and gravel trail through the mountains and they performed exceptionally. I was very concerned about tire noise as not many reviews are out on these, but they are sooo quiet for a mud terrain. With my MTZ's on the highway I wouldn't be able to make phone calls because I couldn't hear(soft top) with the combination of wind and tire noise. Now with my X3's I can easily hear when making phone calls on the road because of the significantly quieter tire noise. Also these tires handle exceptionally, when these got put on I could tell a difference immediately and it felt like a brand new jeep the way it handled. I've gotten it up to 90mph and there is no shake from 0-90mph. Yes they are heavy for jeep tires and it did lower my MPG but you don't buy a jeep put 35's and a 3 inch lift on for the MPG. I can't tell any visible tread wear yet but I would buy these tires again if my jeep lasts that long.

I bought these tires back in January in 285/75/16.

1. Balancing - It took a few tries to get them balanced properly, they are pretty heavy, but finally got them to balance out. Get a Road Force balance it's definitely worth it.

2. Performance - They have been through most elements but snow and ice. I have been thoroughly impressed with their wet and dry performance on highway let alone off the beaten path.

3. Noise - Tires are noisier than my previous ones, Hankook Dynapro, but that is to be expected given their nature. Noise is slightly louder than an average A/T on an Xterra but at speeds below 50 they are quiet.

Definitely would recommend these tires to anyone looking to upgrade.

Only have a few hundred miles on tires as of now. Tires are VERY comfortable and handle the road like a dream. Very quiet on the highway and was surprised at that. Can't even hear them and I have a soft top. And they look awesome on the Jeep.Will update after the snow and ice hit.

These tires are stiff! But they look great on the Jeep JKU Rubi Hard Rock. As with any mud / off road tire, they are average at best on the road, wet, and packed snow. Off road they are fantastic. I and the kids have pulled countless Jeeps and pickups out of the dirt, mud, and snow. They throw anything they touch out and up so expect dirt or road salt all over the vehicle (roof too). On the Jeep they do make it a very harsh ride but if you want a 35" that is what you get. The look and the performance off road is great.

The tread wear is AMAZING, I still have well over 1/2" depth left with somewhere in the 40,000 miles of use (85% of that is highway and side streets). That may be due to the weight of the Jeep JKU is not much. I have the Kelly TSR Safari's on my Ram 1500 and they are excellent tires off road but nearly bald after 26,000 miles. I do like the Kellys but the tread-life is a concern comparing to my Grabbers.

More comfortable ride thought. So if you want looks, off road performance, CRAZY durability you cannot go wrong with Grabber X3's.

Shocked at how quiet this tire is. I was expecting my first off road style tire to be louder than this. Ride comfort is excellent as is handling. Overall very happy with this tire and love the red lettering. Fell right in line with other powder coated upgrades.

Have 50 k in 2 years tires still have decent tread left probably 10-15 max but am buying a another set before busy season

Great tires! I went up a size or two from what was factory on my truck. Even tread ware and not a lot of road noise. Feels good even when cruzing around 100 on the highway. I would def buy these again.

Off road, this is the best tire on the market! Why? because of the performance and protection. I have seen this tire take some hits from logs and sharp rocks that would have cut the sidewall of any other tire.

I think i would see at minimum 40,000 miles. Already at 32,000 with some more life to go.

a little louder on the road then the popular all terrain tire everyone runs. Worth the trade off of the mud performance.

I have ran these X3 tires all over north ga and its mountains. This is the tire to run, great in the mud and great to have to not worry about blowing a sidewall!
