Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 is Goodyear's Extreme Performance Summer tire originally developed for the Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE and Camaro ZL1 and designed for enthusiast drivers who want a tire with the grip and handling to match their high-performance, high-powered vehicles. The Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 is engineered to excel on the street or track in warm, dry and wet conditions, and like all Extreme Performance Summer tires, it is not intended to be serviced, stored nor driven in near-and below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

Utilizing a high-grip, race-inspired tread compound provides the Eagle F1 Supercar 3 with impressive traction in dry and wet conditions, and the asymmetric pattern allows Goodyear to tune the tire for optimal performance. The massive, low-void outboard shoulder provides immense lateral grip for confident high-speed cornering, while the solid center rib delivers direct and responsive handling. The inboard shoulder features full-depth sipes and more void area to help evacuate water from the footprint for confident traction in wet conditions.

The racing-derived construction of the Eagle F1 Supercar 3 is designed to be lightweight, reducing unsprung mass from the vehicle for enhanced steering and handling precision, in addition to temperature stability. The two-ply, rayon casing features a high turn up for a three-ply sidewall that further improves steering response. Two wide, steel belts and a polyamide reinforcement ply support and stabilize the tread for high-speed capability and handling.

Note: Tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24 hours before they are flexed in any manner, such as by adjusting inflation pressures, mounting them on wheels, or using them to support, roll or drive a vehicle.

Flexing of the specialized rubber compounds used in Extreme Performance Summer tires during cold-weather use can result in irreversible compound cracking. Compound cracking occurs as the result of improper use or storage, and Goodyear's warranty specifically excludes tires exhibiting this condition from coverage. Any tires exhibiting compound cracking must be replaced.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 Reviews

Performance reviews suggest the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 excels in dry conditions, offering exceptional grip, predictable handling, and heat resilience for track days, autocross, and spirited driving. Wet traction is limited-manageable in light rain but prone to hydroplaning in standing water, consistent with its dry-focused design. Treadwear receives praise for a 200TW tire, showing durability through multiple track sessions and heat cycles, though aggressive street use or heavy vehicles accelerate wear. Enthusiasts appreciate its track-ready performance, accepting reduced wet capability and tread life as expected trade-offs for a tire prioritizing dry precision and consistency.

...Dry grip remain consistent until the end of its life cycle.

Phenomenal track day tire with good on road manner. This tire gives you everything you expected from a track day tire, steering response is much better than Cup2, and last very long. Dry grip remain consistent until the end of its life cycle.

...What a surprise! Equal in terms of feel, braking, turn in, braking to the Toyo's I'd been running for years. Biggest difference? This tire did not have the same fall off when they got hot...

My initial set was experienced when I bought a used set of track wheels and the Goodyears were in good shape so decided to try them. What a surprise! Equal in terms of feel, braking, turn in, braking to the Toyo’s I’d been running for years. Biggest difference? This tire did not have the same fall off when they got hot. So and win, win and so much so I bought a new set from Tire Rack.

...On a square 275 setup it's almost scary levels of grip. You get in a sticky situation you just input more and it just grips up...

Wow, lots of grip. Maybe a tiny bit more vague then my last Dunlop’s but that might be due to running tire pressure a bit higher. On a square 275 setup it’s almost scary levels of grip. You get in a sticky situation you just input more and it just grips up. Much less tire noise than my previous dunlops but not great. Not sure how the west will be but so far these have been very confidence inspiring. I can even dump it with launch control from 3k in the e92 and it doesn’t spin at all, though luckily I have enough power to power slide if I want to

Customers praise the Eagle F1 Supercar 3's treadwear, with scores 7-10 highlighting excellent durability through multiple track sessions and heat cycles. Many note longer-than-expected lifespan for a 200TW extreme performance tire, lasting 10+ track days or 7,000+ street miles when aligned properly. While some report quicker wear during aggressive street use, most consider it a fair trade-off for consistent dry grip and track-ready performance.

...I got 15,600 miles out of them and went with them again...

Loved the factory tires. I got 15,600 miles out of them and went with them again. They handle awesome in warm weather. Ride quality is surprisingly good for a performance tire. They grip very well and I’ve never had a problem in the rain with these tires. Plus I love how the square up with the rims and don’t leave it exposed like other Camaros I’ve seen with different brands.

Great tire for Track usage, very grippy and still pretty durable.
Wet traction is problematic, very low grip and hydroplane easily. It's ok for road use if you don't have to deal with heavy rain regularly.
Good price, based on the tire performance and lifetime.

I really liked those tires and would have purchased those again.
Unfortunately, availability has been problematic... back ordered for 1 year, got a new set and they are back ordered again.
For that reason, I won't buy goodyears ever again.
