Goodyear Eagle GT II 

good year eagle GT-II ALL SEASON TIRES,DRY/WET TRACTION GOOD VERY LITTLE HYDROPLANING IF ANY.

SMOOTH RIDE AND HANDLEING/STABILITY AND LOW NOISE.

The grip around corners both on dry & wet roads is above expectations. The tires have transformed this average car. In rain, very predictable.
Ride is good, considering the 40 psi at all four corners. The front tires show notable wear, however. They have not been rotated.

I love thease tires no matter what iv put them through-fast cornering-sliding corners-fast start-fast slow downs,medium towing they have outperformed many other tires iv had,especialy for price,i have approximately have 15 to 20k left on tread and will replace them with same

This tire grips the road AWESOME!!! I had to choose "spirited" as a "driving style" when filling out this survey, but it would be more like "keeps my foot in it". There is a interstate interchange that I take every day with a long sweeping left turn, the posted speed limit is 45MPH. I can take that turn at 95MPH with no problem. The tires dont squeal or anything they just hook up. I know that my driving style is aggressive but I would have liked to gey more treadwear out of these tires. I rotated and balanced these tires every 6000 miles, checked and adjusted the air pressure at least once a month and still only got about 20000 of good use out of them. This is a good performance tire but the durability was just not there. The good thing was that even with about 90% tread gone these tires still griped the road good.

Well I have a 95 9c1. My dream car, came with 51k. Boy do I love my car. I hate these Good year G2. Reason being, my car has alot of power, and when it's raining I have to take off like a grandma to keep from spinning the tires. I mean if I just normally push the accelerator i'm spinning. Also these tires are hard to keep looking clean, man I try to keep em clean, but the always get dirty like I stay on a dirt road.

I got 80,000 miles out of a set of these tires. No more need be said.

I have 73000 miles on these and the were brand new installed on it when I purchases the truck used with 47K on it in 2009. Its now 2018, I have almost 131000 on my Tundra, and I run the tires at 45psi mounted on Custom BBS rims it came with and pull a heavy 6x12 single axle utility trailer on 250 to 400 mile round trips frequently.

Great looking tire and very decent treadwear for the money. I have 36K miles on them now and am trying to upgrade to a better tire for my SUV 4X4, but for the money the Eagle GT II is very hard to beat. I don't toe with these tires and the load I carry is minimal. Have been satisfied. I did have one tire wear prematurely, but the other 3 have been great!

Front end vibrated at 65-70 mph immediately on purchasing these tires. They produce way more road noise than OEM tires. Ride is harsh. Despite being "all season" they are terrible in the snow. Nearly bald after 30,000 miles of relatively sedate driving. Will never purchase goodyear tires again.

I would not recomend these tires to anyone that expects to get around without issues in all the various driving conditions that I've experienced in the Kansas City area. In dry, lateral acceleration they'd grip decently but when cornering because of their weak sidewall they'd let loose WAY too easily and give you no confidence. In wet they like to hydroplane and lateral acceleration flat ----s. In snow just make sure you have a tow truck's number handy, I got stuck so many times I just about slashed my own tires! I bought Cooper Cobra Radial GT's to replace these and fell in love with them. But they dont have them on tire rack or I'd write a review on them as well.

These tires would probably be much better on a sports car not a truck or SUV. They handle well in the summer and on Dry pavement but in the snow and cold weather they just don't perform like they should. Having a wider size at 285/50-20 on a 1998 Tahoe does not help winter driving either. In order to get better traction in the snow I had to have the tires siped which boosted traction about 40%. The sidewalls on all 4 tires have a bulge on them and in the rain my truck tends to slide out back more. I also lost a few mpg but gained it back when the tires were siped. My next set will be the Rugged terrain TA or the Geolander A/T-S in a 275/55-20 that will help a lot in my snow traction and get a lil mopre mpg.
