Hankook iON evo AS SUV 

I have to say I’m genuinely impressed with how good these tires are. Got them to replace the mediocre OEM tires on the Ariya, which were wearing down anyway.

It’s usually a trade off that most low rolling resistance tires are bad in the rain. But somehow Hankook has managed to figure out how to make an exceptionally sure footed tire during a heavy rainstorm at highway speeds that still sees the car getting good range and efficiency. These tires are also surprisingly good on snow and at least decent on ice. Dry handling is improved as well, but only very slightly.

Comfort wise, I don’t notice a huge difference in ride quality. The Ariya tends to ride a bit firm, and that remains. However, noise levels are truly exceptional. The ion EVO is *far* quieter than the OEM tires which also supposedly had sound absorbing foam inside. I am able to listen to quieter music passages at highway speeds without turning up the volume. It’s so nice to have a quiet ride when on long highway trips.

Overall, I’d highly recommend these tires, especially if you have an EV. The only people they may not be ideal for is if you live somewhere with big time winter weather and very deep snow. But you’re probably running dedicated snow tires anyway in an environment like that.

This has been the best EV tire I've ever had the privilege of driving on! Where do I start? It reduces cabin noise. It grips the road better than any EV tire I've driven on! (The car hugs the road in corners confidently!) Almost grips the road as good in rain as it does in dry conditions! Grips better than I was expecting in snow/ice during winter conditions in Colorado! Grip champion of stoplight sprints! (No wheel slip even with traction control turned off while mounted on lightweight rims!) Great tire overall and without a doubt I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for their next EV tire! (Note to EV hypermilers: Inflate tires to 42-46psi for best possible range) Tire max pressure is 50psi

I read many reviews and gave very careful consideration to buying Hankooks as I'd never purchased them or driven on them before. I have bought many sets of tires starting with "M", so to change away was a concern. I took the leap of faith based on the reviews I'd read here and I'm glad I did. They look good, they drive great and so much better than the OEM I started with as my car was brand new several years ago. These tires are SO quiet. Smooth on the highway, braking is excellent and most importantly for me, driving during an Iowa winter, the traction on snow and ice is excellent, I feel very secure driving the car. One note. My Volvo XC40 Recharge is all electric and incredibly fast during acceleration. The tires don't break loose and they corner very well when I decide to "give it the beans".

The tires are quiet and give a great wide.
They are responsive and sure footed in most conditions and provided better performance than expected in snow and ice.

Noticeably the quietest tired I've owned. I hated the OEM tires that came with my Tesla. Lasted <10k miles. So I upgraded the rear suspension camber and toe arms. Then I got 50k miles on a set on non-EV tires. They were good tires, but loud. Now these are 100% different. Very quiet, good traction in wet or dry. No oily break in period. I hope to get 50-60k miles on these too. When the fronts need replacing, I'll be going with Hankook too.

I saw these tires that fit on my E-Tron and thought to give them a try. My car only has 29K on it and the original Continental LX were riding rough and felt like they weren't doing that well anymore even though 5/32 tread left.

Pulling away from the tire shop the smoothness and noise level was far better than the Continentals ever were. I got these right after Christmas 2024 and have taken them on 3 road trips about 2500 each. They are wearing evenly and now measuring an 8.5/32. Sometimes I accelerate and these Hankooks are not being torn up. Wet and dry conditions the tire does very well for an all season. No testing in the snow yet, but I would imagine they would be decent for an all season tire.

Would I buy them again? Absolutely. These Hankooks are a great fit for my Audi e-Tron

On dry pavement tires are so comfortable I easily do full speed limit of 85 even on older road surfaces. Tire has no problems at max speed of car. Miles/kw efficiency is actually better than factory tires. Getting over 4/kw. IMO this tire is significantly better than factory, with no additional negatives. I have not yet been in a gully wash, nor winter ice/snow

All-in-all, the tires provide a comfortable and quiet ride.

It is everything you've researched! Downsizing my 19" OEM Tesla Gemini Wheels to the Atomic Wheels 18" with these Hankooks for comfort was absolutely the best decision ever! They are quieter than my stock Pirelli Scorpions, range has gotten better (now hitting below 200 kw/m), and comfortable due to downsizing. Highly Recommend it!

These were the first tires that gave me greater then 30,000 miles! I highly recommend them.

Ask me again in 30,000 miles. So far I have noticed an increase in range in warm weather and the tread wear seems to be steady
