Kumho Solus TA11 

For a cheap compact car tire, these are by far the best I have ever purchased. The treadwear is amazing. At nearly 31k miles, the tires are still at ~75% tread remaining. They handle well in rain during cornering and braking, but can break traction on acceleration. Hydroplaning has not been an issue - these track straight. Road noise does not exist with these tires. I am extremely pleased.

I bought these tires during a Independence Day Sale at America's Tire (aka Discount Tire). They are absolutely solid performers on my 99 RAV4. I've certainly taken these tires through their dry and wet paces, and even once on the sand at a beach at a lowered PSI. In all conditions (except snow where I haven't tested them) they perform awesome. They are pretty quiet on the highway, and they handle nicely around corners as well. I drive them pretty hard. Now, this rav4, which has full time AWD, is not exactly a tire smoking machine but compared to the cruddy Walmart All Terrains that were on their before, the Kuhmos have improved traction. Also, rain traction with these is very good in my experience. You have to corner really hard to make these tires lose traction and even when you do break traction the steering feels controllable and you can easily bring it back under control. Overall I would highly recommend these tires. it does look a bit funny to have road tires on an suv, but that's subjective lol. Also, the tread life seems to be excellent and the tires wear evenly. Just keep up on your rotations and proper air pressure and you'll be good to go for a long while. If you're in doubt buy these!!!

These were great tires, they lasted about 53k miles, and would have gone longer. However, one of my rear tires, got two nails in it. One of the nails was lodged in, near the sidewall. My mechanic tried to save the tire, but it popped, unfortunately. I drive a Rear-Wheel Drive, manual transmission, 3rd gen 4runner. Thus, I cannot truly evaluate the "high performance" aspect, of this tire, like a sports car owner. I cannot test the extreme dry traction, etc. Nevertheless, these tires were excellent on my SUV.

They are a very confident tire, in both dry and wet conditions. They provided all of the grip, stability, ride comfort, and durability, that I hoped for. I also had the Kumho Solus KR21 before this one, (another great tire). The KR21, was the tire, that got me into Kumho tires. At this price point, you are getting a very good, all-around tire, that has no weaknesses, (besides strong ice/winter conditions). I have never driven my car in rough Winter weather, or a snowstorm, so I cannot speak on that.

The Kumho TA11 provides good grip, and it has a nice, comfy ride. It is not a loud tire either. The tire is very stable, and it lasts a very long time, without failing, or deforming. (In my experience). The tire inspires confidence. I trust this tire. It did not let me down, even in heavy rainstorms, where other cars were hydroplaning. I lived in Oregon with these tires, and they did well in rain. I also lived in Socal, with these tires. When Socal highways, get heavy rain, they can be very treacherous. Since these roads were not designed to expel heavy rain. Large, hazardous puddles develop, and your car must drive through them, at angles, and they can be very dangerous. Nevertheless, I was confident with the Kumho TA11, it handled every condition that I threw at it. These are excellent tires, and I am buying another set right now, as I type this review. This is a great product. I am a repeat customer!

I probably wrote the wrong size for the review . I'm on thirteens. I keep them real clean though. These things are great. On my second set. Great in the summer and surprisingly well in legit winter conditions. Every once in awhile I would have to chain up to climb this one hill I frequent... But they don't use cinders where I live and it easily becomes icy here... Totally will buy again when I wear these out

I would definately purchase this tire again it has held up great in all conditions living here in North Dakota. In fact I have tried on numerous occasions to try to get stuck in heavy snow but have not suceeded.

Excellent dry handling . Good to excellent in wet. Responsive and smooth. Relatively quiet. Even wearing. Reasonable price and excellent value. Absolutely no problems after one year.

I'm extremely pleased with these tires! The car turns easier than my old set of tires and they ride smooth. The grip on the road is really good, though I haven't pushed it. I actually mounted these tires myself, at home. They were all well balanced and required very little wheel weights. I hope I can get most of the mileage out of them as most manufacturers way overstate the mileage. (I drive conservatively and rotate my tires religiously) Super happy and would buy these again!

Good reliable tire. Excellent ride

I had two of these tires on the front of my truck and when it came time to replace the rears, I put these on so now I have a matched set and I love them. They are quiet, handle great and all around a good quality tire.

Great tire with exceptional treadwear. We tow the vehicle behind our RV. Does great and the tires don't wear out like other brands.

Purchased tires in 6/2022 I drive mostly all highway I have 89,000 miles on these tires. Even wearing great traction low road noise and still some life left. Will probably be 100,000 miles before I change them
Great purchase for a commuter

Terrific tire and a great price, I have paid twice as much for tires that wore much faster, right at the full 75k now, will need to be replacing soon. It also says something about my Nissan, 145k and never had an alignment done and never have had any uneven tire wear.
