The X FIT HT is Laufenn's Highway All-Season tire designed for the drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, and full-size SUVs who want reliability and comfort combined with versatility in all weather conditions. X FIT HT tires are engineered to deliver a quiet ride and long life, plus sure-footed traction in dry, wet, and wintry conditions, even light snow.
The tread compound of the X FIT HT is specifically optimized for highway all-season use and is designed to provide long life and resist damage from coarse or abrasive surfaces. The symmetric pattern features a rigid center rib and a 2-in-1 shoulder block design to enhance steering response and traction, while the block and groove layout is engineered to reduce airborne noise for improved driver comfort. The all-season compound works with sipes and independent block edges to provide wet traction, and the four main, circumferential grooves and wide lateral notches evacuate standing water from the contact patch to resist hydroplaning. Zigzag elements in the bottom of the outboard grooves help enhance grip in deep snow, and the winter-focused zigzag sipes increase the total number of biting edges to deliver traction in snow or on ice.
The internal construction of the X FIT HT utilizes a two-ply, polyester casing for enhanced durability and steering response without sacrificing ride quality. The two high-strength, steel belts stabilize the tread for confident handling and durability. Dual, spirally-wound nylon cap plies (some sizes feature a single-ply reinforcement) further reinforce the tire and provide high-speed capability and handling.

...They handle well in rain, handle well in snow, or handle well in dry payment...
These tires have been a really great buy. They handle well in rain, snow, or dry payment. The truck rides pretty good on them and they have worn well over the past year. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

...I have driven about in snow and in rain and they do really well so far. The traction is good...
The tires are only at about 1000 miles now. I have driven about 4 inches of snow and rain and they do really well so far. The traction is good. Did slip a little due to ice at stop sign. This happens with most front wheel drive cars. All in all I highly recommend others to tryout. The weapon tread so far is great. Not much yet at all. But again I’m at 1000 miles and still counting.

...The traction on all types of terrain was really good including on ice...
I had this set on my 1997 F-150 that was a 4x4. They road really well, wore well from use. The traction on all types of terrain was really good including ice. They even survived when someone stole my truck and pretty much destroyed it, but the tires held up under that stress. Overall a very good tire.

These have been a good set of truck tires and I have had them in deep snow, in mud, and on gravel roads in which all have been handled very well with these tires.

...I have to say, they snow/slush traction is pretty impressive for this highway tread...
Sadly the dealer put these on my rig as part of the purchase, because it couldnt leave without new tires on it. I have to say, they snow/slush traction is pretty impressive for this highway tread. However at 15,000 miles, there are already cracks along the tread carcass. Ill be replacing these before next summer with probably less than 20k on them.

...I do some pretty hard turns at times do to the way the neighborhood is and these tires can make then turns without the sounding of tire screech and such...
Purchased when their were no reviews on it and practically risked it, turns out to be a very good set of tires and I very much like them, I do some pretty hard turns at times do to the way the neighborhood is and these tires can make then turns without the sounding of tire screech and such, so definitely a good buy and for the price.
Vehicle: 2008 Ford F150 XL Regular Cab 2wd Miles Driven on Tires: 7,500 Driving Conditions: Combined Highway/City Location: WACO, TX Driving Style: Spirited
Purchasing tires from tire rack is a breeze! However, I picked out the wrong set of tires for my vehicle. I went based on reviews and scale rating. These tires do not perform good in wet conditions. I find my tires skipping whenever I brake coming to a red light on very cold days. I also experience the vehicle slipping when entering a highway ramp, which I have to go very slow to merge into the highway. These tires are great in dry conditions. Pricing is also good. I should have spent a little extra to get a better, well rounded tire. I will definitely not be buying these tires, since it puts my safety at risk.

...They have poor dry traction but I should mention if you like to do burnouts my 2001 truck can lay down way more rubber with these than any other tire I have owned since it was new...
The tire is sorta okay for the price, however one of the tires could not be balanced due to radial runout ( Tire out of round). I ended up buying 5 tires and put the defective one on the spare. It gives quite the shake when used. They are a little bit noisy and below average in the wet, again due to a low end tire . They have poor dry traction but I should mention if you like to do burnouts my 2001 truck can lay down way more rubber with these than any other tire I have owned since it was new. It came new with Goodyears ,I used Michelin from the closed Sears Auto stores for a long time, then Generals . By the way the General had a nasty tread separation on the freeway on a six year old tire. Sadly , that was also a Tire Rack purchase, kinda concerning. Definitely won’t trust those again. I recommend avoiding any of the budget brands and you will be much happier.

...They were at the wear indicators in 30,000 miles and that was with a tire rotation every time the oil was changed. We shall see how they wear as time goes on.
Purchased 4 of the X FIT HT is Laufenn's Highway All-Season tire Size: 275/60R20. I had them installed on my Ram 1500 with wheel alignment at the same time. So far the ride is good with very little tire noise, handles well, and holds the road. Considering the tires were only $142.00 each they are far better than the Factory Goodyear Tires put on by Dodge. They were at the wear indicators in 30,000 miles and that was with a tire rotation every time the oil was changed. We shall see how they wear as time goes on.
