The Latitude Tour is Michelin's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickups looking to combine comfort, wear and fuel efficiency. Most Latitude Tour tires meet Michelin's Green X standards for long tread life, good wet traction and low rolling resistance, as well as provide year-round traction, including in light snow.
Latitude Tour tires use a silica-based tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design optimized with Michelin's MaxTouch Construction to deliver more miles of treadwear. Stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib enhance responsiveness and highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and multiple sipes provide biting edges in snow. Latitude Tour tires also feature Michelin Comfort Control Technology that combines computer-optimized design and precision manufacturing to reduce vibration and road noise. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts under the tread area on top of a polyester cord casing that enhances ride quality.
Note: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow, tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction this type of tire can provide in deep snow.
*The application of the Green X symbol is determined by laboratory testing on a model-by-model, size-by-size basis. Specific sizes featuring Green X technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

...I have also driven them hard in wet conditions and been equally impressed...
Got these tires in the fall and have 4 snow storms on them and I am VERY impressed. I've been pushing them hard on dry snow, wet snow, slush and some ice and I have had trouble getting them to skid or slip. I have been stomping on the brakes, taking corners hard and making jack rabbit starts in the worst conditions I could find and the Latitude Tour has to be pushed hard to loose traction. I have also driven them hard in wet conditions and been equally impressed. Dry cornering and stability are very good. The only fault I can find with this tire is a little road noise on concrete highways. Fine on asphalt. I use Blizzaks LM 22 on my BMW 325xi (AWD) and I put these all seasons right up there with them.

...Very good traction in rain, in snow and in dry...
Replaced the OEM Continentals with Lattitudes on my Honda CRV. At 50k miles there is still 75% tire life left. My last set of Michelin's on an older CRV gave me over 80k miles. Very good traction in rain, snow and dry. Also a very quiet tire. All my NON-OEM Michelin tires have lasted to over 80k miles. Best tires made. I think some folks here are confusing this tire with a similar named Michelin OEM. All tire makers do this. They use the same name but a different model number on OEM tires. It's confusing, but car maker's give them a budget and OEM tires are usually very cheaply made. So, the tires you paid $700 for are NOT the same as the OEM tire, even though the name is the same. The exact model number is different. Don't be confused.

...Great traction in all road conditions and very smooth.
I was told these tires would only last 30-40k miles, yet they made it to 50k, and had I rotated a few more times would have lasted another 5-10k miles. Great traction in all road conditions and very smooth.

Terrific improvement over the OEM Goodyear Integrity ,especially in reduced road noise. Was also pleasantly surprised how well they work in snow. This was definitely the right choice for our Honda Pilot.

...When the CR-V's four-wheel drive kicks in upon encountering snow or other slippery conditions, these tires just take a bite into the road and away I go...
It was only after extensive research that I decided to spend the money for this premium tire. The tire, however, has proven to be worth every dollar spent. The Michelin Latitude Tour is much quieter and more responsive than my '07 Honda CR-V's OEM tires. When the CR-V's four-wheel drive kicks in upon encountering snow or other slippery conditions, these tires just take a bite into the road and away I go. Love 'em!

I have had these tires for 4 weeks now. It has either rained or snowed for the entire 4 weeks (at least it seems like it). These tires handle very well in flooding conditions and 4-6 inches of snow. I have good gas mileage to begin with so I'm not sure that the tires have changes that but they haven't made my gas mileage descrease. I drive mostly on the highway 25 miles to and from work everyday and I haven't had a problem. My last set of Michelin tires lasted 60,000 miles and I'm hopeing these do also. I would definitely pay a little more for these tires and have this quality than save a little money now and have problems. Highly recommended!

...these tires is superb at Dry or Wet traction.. ... and that is shocking.. Because a comfy tires usually ----s at traction (like my Yoko's dB)...
I bought this set of tires based on this web reviews.. I was looking for a replacement to my Dunlop ST30 (OEM Tires), the criteria is: it should be the most comfortable and quiet tire for my new CRV.. And then I was between two; Yokohama SpecX, and Michelin Latitude Tour..
To be honest, Mich Latitude are really hard to find here in Indonesia.. Most of the authorized distributors only stock the Primacy types.. At the other side, Yoko SpecX is really easy to find.. (I even test driven the SpecX on my vehicle- and these tires are awesome! Comfy and silent.) But, I stick to the plan.. When Tirerack reviews say that Tour are more comfortable than SpecX, It cannot go wrong.......
And then I ordered these Tour from Thai and it arrived in a week.. And when I first riding on it... Whew..
The fact is: the reviews are right.. Tour is so comfortable.. It is even more comfortable than the SpecX.. And it's also very silent in the highway.. BUT it is not that silent when crossing through a bump or a damaged city road.. :sigh:
these tires is superb at Dry or Wet traction.. ... and that is shocking.. Because a comfy tires usually ----s at traction (like my Yoko's dB)
Overall.. i think Tour is a Must Buy tire for a light SUV who spend most of the times on highway or city cruisin..

...These tires are without question the finest tires I have ever owned... If I would have known how much improvement they made in the ride, handling and noise reduction I would have purchased a set a long time ago.
After two sets of Contitrac tires I decided to spend the extra money for this set of Michelin Latitude Tour tires. These tires are without question the finest tires I have ever owned. With the Continentals I couldn't even hear the radio if I was driving over 35 MPH. The Latitudes are so quiet and smooth riding it's like I'm in a completely different car. If I would have known how much improvement they made in the ride, handling and noise reduction I would have purchased a set a long time ago.

...The tires provide a smooth and quiet ride in both wet and dry conditions and I have yet to experience any uneven tread wear, hydroplaning, wheel slip, skidding, or stability issues...
In March 2011 I was driving on an 8 year old set of Michelin Cross Terrains size 225/75R/16. The tires were worn well beyond the wear bars resembling slicks more than a highway all season tire. Safe to say, it was time for new tires.
Prior to purchasing, I spent a great deal of time learning about tires, talking to experts, and reading reviews. Besides good wet and dry traction, I wanted a tire that provided a smooth and quiet ride the way my Cross Terrains did. Moreover, I wanted a tire that performed reasonably well in the snow for the occasional winter trip to Tahoe.
I narrowed my search down to two tires, the Michelin Latitude Tour and the Michelin LTX M/S2. I was on the fence between the two tires, but I eventually chose the Latitude Tour, size P225/75R/16, because it had a tighter tread pattern and a softer sidewall, which in my mind translated to a smoother, quieter ride.
65% of my driving by distance on highways here in the Bay Area, the remaining 35% on city streets. I am somewhat of an assertive driver cruising between 70 and 80 mph on the highways and I take corners a bit faster than some. That said, I have put 16,454 miles on my Latitude Tours and could not be happier. The tires provide a smooth and quiet ride in both wet and dry conditions and I have yet to experience any uneven tread wear, hydroplaning, wheel slip, skidding, or stability issues. I can't say for sure but I think my worn Cross Terrains provided a slightly smoother ride, but that was probably due to the lack of tread on those tires.
As of this review, I have not driven in the snow or ice and I never take the Jeep off road so a don't have any input in these areas.
Note: Despite Jeep's suggested tire fill of 33psi per the in the doorjamb sticker, I have my Latitude Tours filled to 40psi cold because the tires look like they are low on air at 33psi. The higher pressure makes for a stiffer ride, but handling is improved.
I would not hesitate to purchase the Latitude Tours again!

The Michelin Latitude Tours are a huge improvement over the OEM Continental tires that Honda puts on CR-Vs. The ride comfort and noise level improvement were immediately apparent on the ride home from their installation. Having now had the opportunity to run these tires in the snow and ice of winter driving, I continue to be impressed with their performance. If planning to own a vehicle over the long-haul, I would highly recommend the expenditure for these premium tires as easily justifiable.

...So I spent extra bucks and bought the Michelin Latitude Tour tires and now my CR-V rides smoother and quieter than when it was new...
The OEM tires on my 2007 Honda CR-V wore out in 30,000 miles and were the noisiest tires I have ever heard. I hated driving the CR-V and refused to let other peole ride in it. So I spent extra bucks and bought the Michelin Latitude Tour tires and now my CR-V rides smoother and quieter than when it was new. So far I have 5,000 miles on the new tires (3,000 interstate and 2,000 city and back road driving). I am very happy with the tires and the cost was worth every dollar.

Outstanding! OEM on my wife's 2010 Buick Enclave. Got 60,000 out of them and they performed great. Live in NJ, so we have snow, ice, hills etc - no complaints at all from my wife, she never had any problems in the snow (although she's not one to go out in the deep snow if it can be avoided). Buying another set of the same to replace them.

Best, longest lasting tire for a vehicle this size I every had. Better than Bridgestone, Goodyear and other comparable Michelin tires I've used regarding wear, wet traction, light snow, packed snow. Ride, noise, and handling are great. At 55,000 miles now with about 3/32 tread left. I could get another 10,000 off them, but may replace in a couple months before we need to drive in snow. I believe they are worth the money as opposed to cheaper alternatives.
