The Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat is Pirelli's Grand Touring All-Season run-flat tire developed for sports coupes, sedans and small Crossover vehicles. Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat tires feature Pirelli Self-Supporting Run Flat Technology that enhances safety and convenience by providing temporary extended mobility in the event a puncture allows complete loss of air pressure. Pirelli Self-Supporting Run Flat Technology allows tires to literally "run flat" for up to 50 miles at 50 mph (80 km at 80 km/h) unless otherwise specified by the vehicle manufacturer for Original Equipment tires. The Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat is designed to deliver all-season traction and handling for drivers who operate their vehicles in America's various weather conditions, including in light snow.

The Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat's unique combination of qualities have been made possible by Pirelli's Green Performance approach to developing products offering a synergy of driving pleasure, performance, safety and respect of the environment. The Pirelli Ecoimpact icons on the sidewalls of Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat tires highlight their contribution to the environment with regards to energy efficiency, clean air, low noise and long wear.

The Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat uses a low rolling resistance tread compound that features technologically advanced polymers to increase grip on wet and dry roads while it reduces vehicle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design that promotes even wear, improves ride comfort and reduces noise levels. A robust outboard shoulder enhances lateral grip on dry roads while four circumferential channels flow water from between the tire's contact patch and the road to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction. Independent tread blocks and multiple sipes increase the biting edges needed to enhance traction in light snow. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts to provide strength and durability on top of a polyester cord body. Pirelli's extended mobility solution is made possible by their MIRS computer-controlled robotized manufacturing system, a production process that assures consistency in the application of the additional sidewall reinforcements that provide the self-supporting run-flat capability.

Note: Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat tires are designed and produced using eco-focused manufacturing methods and feature low rolling resistance (LRR) compounds and constructions to enhance the vehicle fuel economy of their Original Equipment applications. These tires are identified as such with Pirelli's Ecoimpact designation on their Sizes and Specs pages.

Though they cannot be labeled as run-flat tires, tires branded with MOExtended or MOE on their sidewalls offer run-flat-like characteristics by delivering limited temporary extended mobility after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. Because MOExtended or MOE tires do not have the same speed and distance endurance of conventional run-flat tires, they should not be substituted in any situation where a conventional run-flat tire is required. To confirm what your vehicle needs, check our Original Equipment tire listing for your year, make and model or see your vehicle owner's manual.

...These Pirelli are amazing, they are quite, comfortable, and handle extremely well on dry and wet roads...

This is my first complete set of run flats. After reading the reviews about switching from a non-run flat tire to run flat tire I was concerned. These Pirelli are amazing, they are quite, comfortable, and handle extremely well on dry and wet roads. They are a bit stiffer, but not so stiff to be uncomfortable or loud. I was surprised how excellent these tire perform. I will buy these again knowing my family is safe in the event of a puncture. I recommend for peace of mind and safely of all in the vehicle.

These are 100% better in the snow and wet...

These tires came on my BMW 328i GT xDrive. We just had a horrific winter here in Michigan and these tires were awesome. The snow was so deep the bottom of my car was dragging and my bumper was pushing the snow, and it still never felt like it was anywhere near loosing traction or spinning. The car never feels like its searching for traction. I can't say how the tread wear is going as I haven't measured the tire, but after 11,500 miles they still look like they have nearly as much tread as when they were new. I work at a BMW dealership, and the 3 series normally come with these or the Continental ContiProContact tires. These are 100% better in the snow and wet. The have a surprisingly comfortable ride for a Run Flat tire too.

...They really do well all year round here, through dry, wet, and snow, enabling me to confidently drive anytime I want. :)

I've been through probably 3 sets of these tires on a couple of Q4 Giulias, and I've tried summer Bridgestone (S007?) and standard P7 Cinturato AS (non-run flat). The weather in Michigan was not suited to summer-only tires, even just for the possibility of rain, so P7 RFTs won over that. There's a bit more bump compliance in the standard P7, but the P7 RFTs are close, and with the added security both in case of puncture and in terms of rim protection, the P7 RFT are my choice. They really do well all year round here, through dry, wet, and snow, enabling me to confidently drive like an ------- anytime I want. :)

Mediocre tire. Dry steering response is good, but traction is only adequate for the category, nothing high performance. Wet handling is average but panic maneuvers can be white nuckle. Traction on dense or packed snow is really decent, I felt very safe with these tires. Traction on slush or ice is terrible. Not sure how the non-RFT version rate so much higher, but I definitely wouldn't buy these RFT version.

...Haven't had it in the snow yet, but dry and wet traction is very good...

Replaced the horrible Dunlop 380's that came standard with this tire (after much research and pondering). There weren't a whole lot of choices to be had and very limited info available, but I took a chance; so far, so good. Tire is light years better than the O.E. garbage. Haven't had it in the snow yet, but dry and wet traction is very good. Cornering/steering feel is not great, but I believe that more to do with being a mini-van and Toyota's reputation for a 'numb' feel. If snow traction with the AWD approaches anything resembling 'good', I will be a very happy camper. Have learned a valuable lesson though about buying/leasing new vehicles; research replacement tires as part of the buying process. Never imagined paying 1K for tires/mounting/balance/alignment on a mini-van (but that's the run-flat story).

...I think a true summer tire will have a noticeable improvement in dry performance as these tires can't maintain traction with full throttle if the wheel is turned (with 400 torque)...

These tires came stock on my AWD sport coupe. I've driven long flat road trips, spirited driving through the mountains, city, just about everything. They do fine all around. My suspension is fairly tight so assessing bumps is a bit hard. On a smooth road they are very quiet. You do feel most bumps and I cry if I ever hit a pothole, but I wouldn't say it's terrible. I think a true summer tire will have a noticeable improvement in dry performance as these tires can't maintain traction with full throttle if the wheel is turned at all (with 400 torque). I have honestly never had any problems in rain or light snow (but I don't push it in these conditions). I have gotten stuck on my street when the snow starts to pile up (more than 3-4 inches) but this may be because my car is low. However, I probably wouldn't plow through snow in these tires. Also note that the low-temperature performance of the tires is very apparent. On a cold night at about freezing (dry roads though), they cannot hold full throttle traction even going straight, on dry roads (AWD, 400 torque).

My biggest complaint is tread life. I have 19000 miles on these and am sitting at 3-4/32" tread. I am replacing them now due to the tread approaching un-safe levels as well as an unexpected tear near the wheel which ballooned out (probably due to pothole).

I will say that the run-flat aspect is comforting in that you can probably make it home even after a tire puncture. This happened after I got a nail in my tire. Pirelli does not recommend repairing run-flats but my local tire shop said it was no problem.

...Handling performance is outstanding, the car feels as though it's held in place with magnets...

These are OEM tires on my BMW. Handling performance is outstanding, the car feels as though it's held in place with magnets. Ride is a bit hard, which is to be expected with low profile tires. They wear fairly quickly, again to be expected with performance tires, with about half tread remaining at 18,000 miles. Otherwise, good traction, good gas mileage and reasonably quiet ride.

What I didn't expect was having to replace two of them this soon. The first succumbed to a pothole at 7K miles, which blew out the sidewall and bent the rim. Not the tire's fault, though. The second picked up a stone in the center tread and went flat. I decided to test their run-flat feature, being rated for 50 miles at up to 50 mph flat. After just seven miles the inside sidewall was destroyed. I suppose that might be enough to keep from being stranded on an interstate, but if you run them flat expect to replace, not repair.

245/45R-18 Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat
These tires made my car so quiet, that I could listen to classical music while driving on the highway at 65mph.
The level of of noise in the car measured with the NIOSH app, was at 60 decibels (dBA). This is the level of loudness of a normal conversation between two people sitting about one meter apart. It's also the average noise level in an office or restaurant.
My car also handles better, brakes better and overall drives much better than before. Can't wait to see how these tires perform on snow and ice conditions.

These OEM tires on my 2013 MINI Cooper S Paceman have the same grip now that they're close to 38K miles as they did when new and they remain as quite and comfortable, too. I've maintained the PSI at 36 on all tires throughout the last two and a half years. Tires are down to 3mm with a bit of life in them still. Now it is time to shop for new tires and I'm definitely going for the same set again.

...We replaced the previous set after about 20K miles. Not great tread life but then their grip and handling are very good. I'd rather have the tires wear out than lose traction...

Second set of these. The summer performance version was the OEM tire but we get lots of rain and occasional snow so when those wore out (at 18K) we switched to the AS variety. These are fine in the rain and light snow. We can't legally ride on these over the mountain passes so I don't know if they are OK in deeper snow; I'd guess not. We replaced the previous set after about 20K miles. Not great tread life but then their grip and handling are very good. I'd rather have the tires wear out than lose traction. The biggest problem is the cost. Otherwise no complaints.
