The Scorpion WeatherActive is Pirelli's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of CUVs, SUVs, and pickups looking for comfort and confident performance in dry, wet, and light snow conditions. The Scorpion WeatherActive is designed as an all-weather tire to meet industry severe snow service requirements for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol alongside its all-season performance.
The Scorpion WeatherActive's innovative polymer/resin compound is molded into a V-formation directional tread pattern designed to deliver dry, wet, and wintertime performance as well as quiet on-road comfort. A narrow, long footprint and rigid 3-rib block design provide lateral traction and stability through turns in dry and wet conditions. A central zig-zag groove and trumpet-shaped lateral grooves work together for wet weather handling and hydroplaning resistance. Multiple biting edges within the tread blocks combine with deep sipes and generous shoulder notches for increased snow traction sufficient to receive the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
The internal construction of the Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActive consists of a two-ply polyester casing supporting two steel belts. Two polyamide reinforcement plies enhance high-speed stability and performance.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Perform very well on dry pavement & in very wet conditions...
Just had these put on so can't rate them in snow/ice yet, nor can I comment on treadlife, but so far they are great. Perform very well on dry pavement & in very wet conditions. Great price & great experience having them installed at the local Discount Tire.

...So far have driven on snow, ice, rain here in Minnesota. Grippy, comfortable, quiet, and composed...
Just purchased. So far have driven on snow, ice, rain here in Minnesota. Grippy, comfortable, quiet, and composed. My third or fourth set of Pirellis on different vehicles. Satisfied in every case. Would recommend, but in my experience tread life tends to be a bit less than, say, Continentals. But grip and comfort are better. I don't do any aggressive driving.

1000 miles in. Vehicle stability feels significantly improved.
First midwest winter snow storm ~3 inches, the tires were incredible. Stopping distance is significantly improved over a standard all season. Low speed traction is excellent. I don’t have space for a dedicated winter tire, these will work perfectly.
Ill update in the future if the tires wear poorly.

...Wet performance is my number one goal and these Pirelli's have easily met my expectations, and believe me their dry performance is as good or better.
Purchased these on the excellent reviews and I'm not disappointed at all. Any wet related performance (rain, light snow, slush, etc.) is Excellent. Still very new but no question a firm ride. With only limited miles on them I still totally believe they were the right purchase. Wet performance is my number one goal and these Pirelli's have easily met my expectations, and believe me their dry performance is as good or better.

These tires are excellent. Traction in dry and wet have been excellent. Nose level is the lowest I've ever experienced in a tire. Tire Rack's testing and review was spot on. The tire gives a light steering response and I would like a little heavier feel, but the car had a light steering response from the original equipment tires. I'll have to see over time how good tread life is.

...In contrast to the Yokohamas, the Pirellis ride extremely smoothly, soaking up bumps and road imperfections like no other tire I've ever experienced. I've never had a tire that completely transformed the ride and handling of a car like these Pirellis have done!
I replaced the junky OEM Yokohama Avid GT tires on my RAV4 Prime at 18,000 miles with the Pirellis, using the Tire Rack reviews and test as a guide. I just couldn't put up with the road noise, harsh ride, and imprecise handling of the Yokohamas anymore, all of which were getting noticeably worse as the mileage increased. In contrast to the Yokohamas, the Pirellis ride extremely smoothly, soaking up bumps and road imperfections like no other tire I've ever experienced. There is virtually no road noise, especially apparent when the car is in all-electric EV mode, and now the car corners like it's on rails. Traction in the wet is vastly improved from what I've experienced so far, and I'm actually looking forward to driving them in snow. I've never had a tire that completely transformed the ride and handling of a car like these Pirellis have done!

Thee best tire I have ever put on a truck. Wet traction was far superior to anything I have ever put on a truck, but had little experience on light snow and glazing ice from left over rain. acceleration and braking were in control for the brief circumstances in use, was comfortable driving in those situations. towing trailers between four and six thousand pounds was not an issue tires were very stable
Customers praise treadwear with most scoring 9s and 10s, highlighting durability and even wear. Some rate 7-8, still reflecting strong all-season performance.
