Hankook Dynapro HT RH12 All Season Truck & SUV Tires in 225/65R17

When I first bought these tires, I was skeptical. There wasn't a whole lot of data on these and overall, in my size, not many tires to choose from.

The stance and curb appeal of the Hankooks is very good. The raised white lettering is an aesthetic that is not seen much on a sea of dull black donuts. Sitting on my 16" rims, the car sits at the correct height and is ready for a run.

The ride factor is very good on these tires, with the tread doing its job of absorbing bumps. Interior noise levels had to be tamed, however, they are generally very good with this tire, especially after wearing in for a little while. For the majority of the tires life so far, the dry traction is very good to excellent, with the bigger Pilot being able to manage corners well. The tires certainly don't detract from the excellent handling bias of the car. On wet pavement, the tread pattern seems to divert water away with ease.

These tires did have a problem with balancing and the rear tires (which hadn't been rotated in over 20k) developed a radial pull. That's why I am looking for another tire. It may have been caused by towing a 2500 lb trailer in the rear for over 1k miles on a return trip from Florida. Towing performance otherwise was excellent. The tires barely heated up during the trip, although it was pretty cold during the month of December.

The only measurable complaint I have about these is the steering slip angle. The steering slip angle is defined by the number of degrees you turn the wheel before the tire responds to a directional change. I hope that Hankook looks at that aspect of tire performance.

I recommend these tires with that caveat. I am satisfied with the tire life, the ride factor and cornering stability of these tires.

Have had these tires on for one year, experienced all conditions except mud. Have been VERY impressed, especially with snow performance. I did take them offroading once last summer - deflated them to 25psi and they climbed steep dry trails and rocks well. Snow and ice performance was great.

I live around Seattle and the wet performance is crucial - these deliver. Found myself driving with confidence in places my prior Toyo Open Country A/T's would make me more cautious. Highway performance is great - quiet, comfortable, much better steering than with A/T tires. What really impresses me is how they really do perform in snow and other traction challenges. Just a month after buying them, I decided to start skiing again after a few years' break. I immediately regretted not getting the AT2 model, but decided to see how these did in nasty winter conditions. I was impressed. During a bad storm we had, I used my truck to pull about three cars out of drifts one afternoon. (The SLX is a re-badged Isuzu Trooper).

I highly recommend these as true "all-season" tires on 4x4 and awd equipped vehicles.

Replacement tire, same model with results reflected above of prior tire usage. I replaced at 70k miles when I noticed a deterioration of wet handling. Still had good rubber left. Highly recommended

Increased the stock tire size on 03 Tundra to Hankook's Dynapro HT P265/70R 16. This tire had paid for itself! After 65k miles, snow, ice, heat, tires are currently at 4/32" tread. Will definitely buy again!

Best tires I have bought for my truck, had Goodyear Wrangler's on before and they did not last near as long. These Hankook's have been great in the snow, very rarely have I had to put it in four wheel drive. Great price I have found on tires for this truck and my other cars from Tire Rack then anywhere else. Would recommend tire rack to anyone.

These tires are stock on my company truck, I was slightly worried heading into winter because the tread seemed a little weak. My operations manager approved me to get new tires, but before I could I had to make a trip to Nashville, TN. On the return trip to St. Louis I ran into freezing rain at the Kentucky border. Cars and trucks around me were having trouble driving straight and staying on the road, I was straight as an arrow through all of this. At the Illinois border it turned to blizzard conditions and I had no traction problems all the way home. I'm not familiar with Hankook tires, but I am pretty impressed with these.

tires are quiet on the hwy, fine in the rain, stopping power is good, stability however is not that great, towing would be a challenge and luckily I am semi retired and do not tow much of anything. The price point was great, just do not expect too much of the tire in terms of stability / towing.

For the price point, Hankook tires are an excellent value. They strike a great balance between performance, comfort, and durability. If you drive a Chevy Tahoe and want a dependable tire without breaking the bank, Hankook is definitely worth considering.

I replaced my previous tire with the same tire I just purchased because these Hankook tires are without a doubt the best tires I have ever owned. So impressed with the tread wear and the smooth ride. For the money th we are great!!

great tire, oem factory was hancook, went 85,000 miles, 2nd set also same hancook model went also 85,000 miles, third set on this truck, now with 195,000 miles, all sets were balanced when new, and never rotated, truck has 1 alingment in 11 years, all tires wear even, no issues

These are ford factory recommended tires, they are my third sets of tires in 6 years. I love the way they wear and ride.
