The WildPeak A/T3W is Falken's Off-Road All-Terrain tire developed for drivers of pickup trucks, vans and full-sized SUVs who need capable traction for a variety of on- and off-road surfaces. Built for adventure, the WildPeak A/T3W is designed to offer capable loose surface performance with satisfying grip on dry and wet roads in addition to light snow traction that meets the tire industry's severe snow service requirements and earns the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

A durable, all-season tread compound is molded into an optimized tread pattern engineered to balance chip-and-tear resistance on coarse and off-road surfaces, with grip and handling characteristics on pavement. Support ramps and step-down features on the tread blocks help provide rigidity for handling stability while also helping to prevent damage from stones trapped in the grooves. Aggressive upper-sidewall features help protect the tire from sharp debris often encountered off-road while providing extra traction in off-camber situations. 3D Canyon Sipe Technology helps support the tread blocks under high torque conditions, aiding wear resistance while offering biting edges for wet and light snow and ice conditions.

The WildPeak A/T3W features heat diffusing technology in the lower sidewall designed to dissipate heat in the internal structure when towing or hauling loads. Twin, steel belts provide a durable foundation for two robust, polyester body plies which are reinforced with a secondary bead apex for confident handling and extra protection in dynamic off-road environments. A polyamide reinforcement ply is included for improved handling and high-speed capability.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

Great tire! This will make my second set I've had on my truck. No complaints, have performed to my expectations in rain, snow and sand on or off road.

...Much better wet grip then BFG A/T or good year durotrax... But wet traction is best I've ever had in any tire. Drive steep canyons road with tight switch backs that when wet bfg and good year require AWD option not to spin or slide. Not with these...

Really quiet tread noise on road when nee. Much better wet grip then BFG A/T or good year durotrax. Little more tread wander then good year, less then bfg. Sand traction is pretty good, ice and snow is good as well. But wet traction is best I’ve ever had in any tire. Drive steep canyons road with tight switch backs that when wet bfg and good year require AWD option not to spin or slide. Not with these. Can’t comment on tread ware yet but do feel the tire wants to run at a much lower psi then the others.
Have had to run others at 50psi front to keep tread from cupping. These where quite harsh at 45 so starting at 40 front. 38 rear with truck empty.

I live in Michigan and Drive in in deep snow, in slush, in ice all winter. These tires are the best all around tire I have ever owned...

I purchased these tires May of 2022 and have put over 40,000 miles on them with a mix of Highway, Offroad, City, and Back road driving. I live in Michigan and Drive in deep snow, slush, ice all winter. These tires are the best all around tire I have ever owned. Up until about 30,000 miles they were extremely quiet and made hardly any road noise at all. I am a avid hunter and frequently drive my truck into fields and down two tracks in Fall, Winter, and Spring when trails and fields are muddy and nasty and never once have I gotten stuck or questioned if my tires were going to be an issue. I needed a tire that was good on road and highways so I could take phone calls for work while driving but also good in deep snow and in mud, sand, and offroad and these tires have delivered! I would highly recommend them to anyone who has those same needs and I will be running these again next time I need new tires.

I have not had the opportunity to use them in the dirt or sand yet but in the snow rain ice they are exceptional, it was the advice of my tire shop to run them a little below pressure for the winter season and put them at recommended pressure for warm sunny days so I will give that a try so far it has worked great

I live in the mountains and have experienced lots of rain and snow lately here in the Sierra Nevada, these tires have performed beyond my expectations. Although they were not my first choice and I have had good success with other tires these tires are just as good as any I have ever used, this is my third three-quarter 10 Chevrolet diesel truck and I could not be happier with purchase of these tires. ...They never lost traction and easily crawled over large boulders. However, what impressed me the most is how well they perform on the highway...

These tires are the best I have ever owned. They are quiet and comfortable on the highway, and they chew through off-road trails. They are also amazingly resistant to hydroplaning. I drive them mostly on the road, and they are quiet and responsive. I have also taken them into muddy fields to go hunting, and they performed exceptionally well. I have also taken them off-roading onto some pretty serious terrain, to get to the base of some of the mountains in the Colorado rockies, and they performed exceptionally well. They never lost traction and easily crawled over large boulders. However, what impressed me the most is how well they perform on the highway. I have had several other brands of all-terrain tires in the past. I always felt like I had to sacrifice road noise and ride comfort, to obtain the offroad capabilities. But not with these tires. They perform exceptionally well both on-road, and off. (I cannot speak to their snow capabilities, as I run snow tires in the winter.)

...On dry pavement, they are grippy (maybe due to being new with new tread depth); stopping distance, steering controls, and cornering are excellent considering I drive a Montero (it has a tall roof, and mine is a short wheel-base version)...

I have only driven my new set of tires in a City and Highway setting for about 300 miles. It is too early to tell how it performs in the long run (say at 5,000 miles) and off-road (which I intend to take in the near future). What I do know, at present, is that these tires gave a comfortable and quiet ride. On dry pavement, they are grippy (maybe due to being new with new tread depth); stopping distance, steering controls, and cornering are excellent considering I drive a Montero (it has a tall roof, and mine is a short wheel-base version). I have not driven them in rain or in snow.

I like the black-sidewall feature and they do look smart on my Montero.

...Awesome customer service, excellent performance on highway, low noise and comfortable...

This is my second set of Falken Wildpeak At3w. I ran them on my 2016 Sierra and now on my 2018 f150. This time I bumped to load range E due to a heavier camper, I was unsure what psi to run at so I contacted Falken directly. The put me through to their engineers who asked about my vehicle set up. 2 hours later they got back to me with an optimal pressure of 57psi. Awesome customer service, excellent performance on highway, low noise and comfortable. Superb performance off-road and these tires are beast in the WNY weather.

Fantastic dry, wet, and cold weather tires. A little noisy on the highway, but comfortable and not knobby or harsh. Great traction off-road, and in wet weather. Been through cold and light snow with no traction issues. I’ve only ever lost traction on command. Incredible tread wear with an even pattern across all 4 tires. I’ll buy again.

...At 45K miles they are evenly worn with zero cupping and no excessive chipping and are nearly if not as quiet as the day they went on. I expect to get the full 55K they are warrantied for and then some...

I have these on a 2016 4x4 Sprinter with upgraded suspension. I am running the LT287/70R17s. My van weighs between 7500 and 8500 lbs depending how loaded out it is. I am perplexed at users who do not get great life out of these tires. I expect to get the full 55K they are warrantied for and then some. I have probably 5K miles of offroad driving, 2K miles of moderate do heavy snow, and the remaining 35+K being mixed highway, street and towing. I rotate every 5-7K miles and adjust pressure based on my driving conditions.

These tires have been utterly faultless and are fantastic off road. I have had them out to Alstrom point (rock and sand), Toroweap (deep sand), over most Colorado passes (mixed dirt and rock), through the glass range (razor sharp volcanic glass), in 2+ feet of heavy Sierra snow, through torrential rain and hail storms and just about everything in between. Throughout they have given confident traction, even wear, and a surprisingly quiet, smooth ride for such an aggressive tire. They exhibit exemplary cornering stability given their size and lugging and offer up gobs of traction when aired down to 20-25 PSI. Finally, unlike the cult favorite, these balance easily and STAY balanced. At 45K miles and counting they are evenly worn with zero cupping and no excessive chipping and are nearly if not as quiet as the day they went on.

I really dont think there is a better do it all, quiver of one AT tire on the market.

...Tread wear very good...

Was disappointed by Falken years back when quality seemed to drop off. Purchased again this time due to great price and reading reviews that quality was back. Would have to agree. Has held up very good on this old 95 chevy k3500 dually work tuck that sees both road and off road. Tread wear very good. I found the ride very comfortable. Not sure how many miles I have had them (I think 12k) but as long as they continue to handle the snow they will stay on the truck. (I normally just run tires down until I see the steel belt poking through anyway).

Will almost undoubtedly be purchasing again as long as the tread design and price remain close to what I purchased previously. Will also be using Tire Rack exclusively from now on. They were able to get these tires to me in a couple of days where none of the local tires shops could apparently get them at all.
