The Azenis FK510 is Falken's Ultra High Performance Summer tire developed for the drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes, performance sedans and modern muscle cars who want dry and wet traction and handling in a refined package.

Like all summer tires, the Azenis FK510 is not intended to be driven, stored nor serviced in near- or below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

The Azenis FK510 is designed to deliver driver confidence in warm conditions, so like all Ultra High Performance Summer tires, it is not intended to be serviced, stored nor driven in near- and below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

Falken Azenis FK510The Azenis FK510's 4D Nano Design tread compound is molded into an asymmetric, Adaptive Constant Pressure (ACP) pattern design. ACP improves distribution of pressure throughout the contact patch for enhanced directional stability and reduced stopping distances, and the wide, outboard shoulder blocks deliver the lateral grip required during performance driving. The tread compound was designed at the molecular level to optimize adhesion in wet conditions, and the Switchback Siping helps to maximize rubber-to-road contact during wet cornering. Four wide, circumferential grooves allow water to flow through the contact patch to resist hydroplaning.

Internal construction of the Azenis FK510 utilizes Falken's Tension Control Technology casing mold shape to provide a flexible middle sidewall area for reduced impact harshness and a rigid outside shoulder and bead area for handling capability. Its two wide, steel belts are reinforced by a hybrid Aramid and nylon undertread cap ply to provide added rigidity and high-speed stability.

Like all summer tires, the Azenis FK510 is not intended to be driven, stored nor serviced in near- or below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

Note: Ultra High Performance Summer tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24 hours before they are flexed in any manner, such as by adjusting inflation pressures, mounting them on wheels or using them to support, roll or drive a vehicle.

Flexing of the specialized rubber compounds used in Ultra High Performance Summer tires during cold-weather use can result in irreversible compound cracking. Compound cracking is not a warrantable condition because it occurs as the result of improper use or storage, tires exhibiting compound cracking must be replaced.

Falken Azenis FK510 Reviews

Feedback patterns show the Falken Azenis FK510 excels in its intended summer tire roles, with outstanding dry traction (scores 9-10) and strong wet performance highlighted by reliable grip and hydroplaning resistance. Riders appreciate the smooth and composed ride, with noise levels rarely mentioned as a concern. Treadwear receives mostly positive ratings (7-8), though a few reports of lower scores suggest variability in longevity. As an ultra-high performance summer tire, it delivers confident handling and responsiveness, aligning well with driver expectations for spirited dry and wet condition performance.

...they are excellent in the wet as long as you have tread left...

I’ll start by saying my 370z can be rough on tires. I’m running -4.5 degrees of camber in the rear and -2.5 in the front. I drive pretty aggressively with alot of fun pushing on/off ramps and the occasional back road in the country. Usually I’m doing highway runs getting through traffic..

That being said these tires were great. My car is very low (2.5 inches ground clearance) and can ride on the rougher side with my coilovers. These replaced my previous set and the ride quality was instantly better. Much softer/ luxurious feeling on road and significantly quieter. They rode like butter considering the type of tire it is (my wife even commented asking what I had changed). So if you want your sports car to “float” down the road these are great.

I did notice slightly less steering feel. It became more vague. But grip was great, and they are excellent in the wet as long as you have tread left.

Now for the bad- my rears only lasted 5K miles. Exactly 3 months actually. My belt is now showing on my rear passenger tire. I have done donuts maybe 3 times on these for about 30-60 seconds each time (creating some smoke) the rest was all street use. I’m a bit disappointed in how quick they wore out. I was hoping for maybe 8-9K out of them.

The front tires are still ok. Maybe 45% life left in them.

Overall they are great but if you’re really low and have a lot of camber, these will wear on you pretty quickly. Great tires other than though!

This is a great tire with excellent dry grip. They hook up well, even with full throttle acceleration from a stop in my tuned GTI. Tires will not spin, just grip.

This is a great tire with excellent dry grip. They hook up well, even with full throttle acceleration from a stop in my tuned GTI. Tires will not spin, just grip.

One important note....my new set from tire rack.com had a Sept 2021 build date. That's 2.5 years of life gone already, even before they are mounted. Tire rack should really be disclosing to customers that they are selling tires that old. They did offer a small discount but I would rather have tires with more recent build date.

...They handle great on dry twisty turny roads during spirited drives... They seem to have much more grip over my previous set of Cooper Zeon R3s...

These tires exceeded my expectations. They handle great on dry twisty turny roads during spirited drives. They are quiet (currently have 2,000 miles) on the highway and backroads. They seem to have much more grip over my previous set of Cooper Zeon R3s. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a set of ultra high performance summer tires.

These tires feel like they have infinite grip, it was a perfect idea to stagger my Mustang, perfect straight line speed, no more spinning tires, and they are much more tougher and less sensitive than the Pirelli tires I had recently. Falken absolutely delivered here with this tire.

...Even with the quick response in weight transfers, it has a pretty soft sidewall great for cruising. They keep quiet very well as long as you stay with rotations and your alignment is good...

For people that want an honest opinion:

This tire is amazing. for the price as a UHP, this is by far the best tire for the performance, comfort, and tread life. I will be on my 3rd set in the spring, getting roughly 20-25k miles on each set, swapping at 3/32" left.

Performance: The response is better than most in this category, both wet and dry. You can feel when they want to give out, and when they do, it's very gradual and composed. They deal with hydroplaning very well for a UHP summer and wet contact traction is top tier.

NVH/Comfort: Even with the quick response in weight transfers, it has a pretty soft sidewall great for cruising. They keep quiet very well as long as you stay with rotations and your alignment is good. I saw so many other reviews saying how horrific they were in this category, and I can bet you they either did not rotate frequently enough or their alignment is $#!t. I've done rotations at 3,000 miles, and at 10,000 miles, barely noticed any difference in noise, but it was noticed.

Tread Wear: Another category that other reviewers had a problem with. It is a UHP Summer tire, you can't expect to get 30-40k miles unless all you do is highway driving. If that is really all you do and they wear down quick, then fix your alignment. I do not go easy on these tires and use them to their full capability probably about 10-20% of my miles, and I'll happily take 25k miles for these.

Overall, amazing tire, FOR THE PRICE, as a UHP summer. You could go with the DWS06+ if you wanted better tread life for close to the same price, but you won't get the performance of these. I've driven this car with both tires, and like I said, I can't wait to throw them on again in the spring.

This is a much better tire for the McLaren GT than the Pirellis. Its more compliant for street use, with great traction and much quieter. McLaren should be using this tire right from the factory. The car rides soooo much better. The Pirellis knocked your teeth out on rough Miami roads. These are perfection!!

...The ride is quiet, comfortable, and responsive...

I purchased these tires just a few days ago but I can already tell you I'm impressed. So far the only real difference between these and the P-P0s that originally came with the vehicle is the price. The ride is quiet, comfortable, and responsive. I would definitely purchase them again.
