The TerrainContact A/T is Continental's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, SUVs and crossover vehicles looking for civilized behavior on-road with the benefit of off-road capability when they need it. Designed to combine a quiet highway ride and long tread life with all-terrain performance, the TerrainContact A/T provides year-round traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in snow.
TerrainContact A/T tires feature a +Silane enhanced all-season compound molded into a mild all-terrain tread pattern. The open pattern improves traction off-road, while the stable tread blocks and closed shoulder design help provide long tread life and resist uneven wear. The +Silane additives further extend tread life and increase wet grip, and the full-depth sipes and edge-of-the-block traction grooves increase all-season traction throughout the life of the tire.
Internal construction of the TerrainContact A/T includes two high-tensile steel belts with a spirally-wound polyamide reinforcement supported by a two-ply casing.

...The wet traction is unbelivable and in Florida the roads don't just get wet, they have standing water all the time...
My Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit is a wolf in sheeps clothing. The factory tires where never able to take what the truck could dish out, these tires can and then some. Wet traction is unbelivable and in Florida the roads don't just get wet, they have standing water all the time. The Summit is the high end luxury vehicle and I have not given up anything when it comes to a quiet, comfortable ride. I have had SUV's all my life and I have never found a better tire...really!

...Their traction is notable and amazing - particularly on wet roads. Honestly, it's like the truck is on rails...
Absolutely fantastic tires. I don’t understand the few low ratings. My tires have lasted 55,000 miles with fairly aggressive driving. I have driven off-road, towed a 5,000 lbs camper, and 50/50 city/highway when not doing these other things. Their traction is notable and amazing - particularly on wet roads. Honestly, it’s like the truck is on rails. I’ve only driven in light snow and minimal ice, but the traction then beat the tires (unnamed) of my companions’ trucks. Road noise is unbelievably low. Response and feel are excellent. One negative, at around 50,000 miles, they started chipping along the outer edges. I attribute this to the fact I’m riding 22 in wheels and this size is much lower profile than others. Other than that - darn near perfect. I will definitely buy again.

I put these on my truck to replace the OEM Goodyears. With my diesel and a light bed the Goodyears were scary in the wet with how much they slid and lost traction; so I wanted the best wet grip I could and Continentals normally always are on the tirerack test. I cover a large territory for work and go to shipyards on the Gulf Coast so I needed a tire that could do highway mileage well yet give me grip and some puncture protection while driving on sandy/muddy shipyards. So far these tire are everything I have hoped they would be. They aren't as quit as a highway tire but are real close, and my MPG has dropped about 1 mpg average. I don't mind that because they are amazing in the wet and I no longer slide and haven't had a puncture at the shipyards. If they last the advertised 60K miles I'll get another set.

...These tires are quiet and perform very well in the winter. They are excellent in deep snow. Drove through three blizzards in the last two years with great traction where the snow was 5-7 inches of unplowed roads without any issues.
Best tire I have ever put on a vehicle. They are perfect for Buffalo NY weather where we get snow, ice, rain and dry summers. These tires are quiet and perform very well in the winter. ...Tonight was the first night I was able to test these tires snow traction, as we managed to get a couple inches on the roads here in Wisconsin. While I wasn't trying to push these tires to their limit, not once did I feel these tires slip. I have complete confidence these tires can take me and my family safely through any weather conditions.
I bought these tires for my truck since the factory Goodyear¿s wouldn¿t cut it for the winter. Despite having no listed reviews, I dug around online and the testing was positive, and a rebate at the time helped me make the decision. They arrived the next day, which was amazingly fast. They were installed in September, and the first thing I noticed was they were very loud rolling on the interstate, but I think they just needed a break in as 50 miles later they were no louder than the old tires, and now you would be hard pressed to tell I had AT tires on my truck.
They proved to be excellent tires. They handled very well no matter if it was sunny and 70 or raining and 40, and I even managed to achieve 30 average mpgs over an hour and a half drive. But anyone who lives in the north will tell you that if a tire can¿t handle snow, then it isn¿t a good tire. Tonight was the first night I was able to test these tires snow traction, as we managed to get a couple inches on the roads here in Wisconsin. While I wasn¿t trying to push these tires to their limit, not once did I feel these tires slip. I have complete confidence these tires can take me and my family safely through any weather conditions.

...In a recent 4" snowfall, they were good, start and stop were fine...
Could not wait to take off my Bridgestone's, they were terrible on wet roads, and steering was mushy. The Continentals are excellent, positive steer feel, great on wet road/rainy weather. In a recent 4" snowfall, they were good, start and stop were fine. These tires are quiet, and have a good look to them. I chose to put the white outlined letters facing out, and they add something to the appearance of my Jeep Sahara, with its 18" polished wheels. They balanced better than the stock tires. All in all a good investment in my safety and comfort.

...These have never slipped, even when putting a lot of pressure on them at a stoplight in the rain. Extremely good wet or dry traction...
TerrainContact A/T have been exceptional. Wanted a tire with A/T toughness but designed more for road driving. These tires were a perfect match. Figured I'd try them out after having old tires that always seemed to lose backend traction. These have never slipped, even when putting a lot of pressure on them at a stoplight in the rain. Extremely good wet or dry traction. No snow in FL so I am unable to comment on that. Can't believe the difference a good tire can make. Well worth the money.

...The ride is smooth for it being an all terrain... The ride is not bumpy there is no loud noise that most all terrain tires have, on the highway or in the city...
I want to start off first by saying I did a lot of research on tires before selecting continental. And I am glad I did, each tire I checked had great ratings but not like the Continental TerrainContact A/T. If you are skeptical about this tire don't be- BUY it. The ride is smooth for it being an all terrain, the look is aggressive but not overly aggressive. They look amazing on my Jeep, it has that nice rugged look with a little class to it. VERY happy I purchased these. The ride is not bumpy there is no loud noise that most all terrain tires have, on the highway or the city. My previous tires were the OEM that came with the Jeep (Goodyear Fortera-HORRIBLE tire). All I have to say is stop looking and go out and grab you this TerrainContact A/T. You will be happy you did. Even when driving around 70 or 80 this tire is impressive. I will also add that I had the tires filled with nitrogen air, it does cost extra I paid $12 a tire but all worth it. My last word - IMPRESSIVE

I purchased these Continental All Terrain tires in fall 2018 and at 70K miles they have exceeded my expectations... at 70K they are starting show their age and will be replaced this fall...
I purchased these Continental All Terrain tires in fall 2018 and at 70K miles they have exceeded my expectations. I drive approximately 20K mile per year (mostly combined highway/city). These tires meet my needs for a midsize pickup used for daily commuting (with a touch of light hauling, light off road and snowy conditions). These tires are especially good on pavement (dry or wet). During snowy conditions I slow down (in 4WD I don't experience any under steering or over steering going around turns). It should be noted that when I bought the tires, I did make sure the wheel alignment of my truck was in good working order. I had the tires rotated every oil change (6-7K miles) and at 70K they are starting show their age and will be replaced this fall. The tires did pass a NYS safety inspection in June 2022. I am currently looking into purchasing a 2022 mid sized pickup and I would not hesitate to swap out the OEM's highway tires with these Continental ATs.

...Replaced at 56,000 miles and they still had a little bit of tread left...
I have been driving SUVs for 30 years, and these are by far the best tires I have ever used. Just purchased my second set for my jeep grand Cherokee. Replaced at 56,000 miles and they still had a little bit of tread left. Highly recommend!

...10,000 miles on the tires and only 3/32 worn. Tire wear rate slows as the tire wears down so I expect to get to the 50,000 mile mark with these...
I up sized these on my truck because I have a front leveling kit in the vehicle. They are 1 inch taller than the factory 275/55R20 that came on the truck. I drive about 35000-40000 miles a year for work. 10,000 miles on the tires and only 3/32 worn. Tire wear rate slows as the tire wears down so I expect to get to the 50,000 mile mark with these. These are by far the best tires I have ever used on a pickup. Balancing was done with minimal weights. Absolutely no shake from the tires. Handling is terrific with precise steering response and good cornering control. Very good feel on the road. Wet traction is very good but all new tires have great wet traction. The tread design of these should produce good traction down to 3/32 hopefully. They are very quiet for a All-Terrain tire. Many reviews said the same and that was a main reason for my purchase. I really can't say enough good about these.
