Tires are extremely grippy and hug the corners great. I was very impressed with the wet traction after getting caught in the rain a couple times. I couldnt even get the rear tires to kick out when i tried, Granted its a 1.6 miata but none the less impressive. The dry traction is fantastic and you can take roundabouts at any speed. I plan on doing some autocross eventually with the car but at least for spirited driving and backroads i have had no need for any more traction.

Track use: This is a fast, consistent tire that does not fall off half way through a 25 min session, only takes a lap or 2 to get warm and allows me to push for fast times for the rest of the session. This is basically one of the fastest 200TW tires at a low price point that you can get while still being durable and hanging the longevity to last 5-8 track days. The main sacrifice with this tire is its poor performance in the wet. In the rain you need to be very careful with this tire.
TLDR - basically as good as a $500 200TW tire in the dry, but won't be competitive at all in the wet

I think these tires are overkill for what the Focus RS is. Maybe one day I will have the ability to track prep the rest of the car to meet the capability of the tires but as of right now it feels like a street car with track tires on it. When they are cold the overall performance is very poor. Poor traction, harsh ride quality, and ALOT of tire noise. The tire wear is uneven, I think in part to my alignment specs but also due to the width of the tire on the rim. These 275 wide tires run very very wide in comparison with other tires. I have owned personally two sets of 285/30R19 tires from different manufacturers that were much narrower in width than these Falken tires are. I have choppiness on the inside edge that correlates to my negative camber and aggressive toe setting but I also feel like the side wall is pinched on the rim contributing to the unwanted tire wear effect. I did notice a bit of concerning sidewall separation already as well. The wheels they are mounted on are 9.5 wide but I would recommend a 10 wide wheel or better for future consideration. I'm not sure of the exact mileage I have put on yet but it was one summer of daily driver/commuter use driving 30 minutes one way to my employer. This year I have a new daily driver so I should be able to enjoy the potential of the tires a bit more as I don't need to depend on the RS to get me to my job everyday. I currently feel like the Nitto Invo was slightly better all around for this car. The Falken RT 660 offers improved warm and dry traction without question but I am not so sure that the RS needs it. Especially my car that has increased tread width over the factory tire sizing. I do however enjoy the track car vibe I get when driving over loose material such as sand or warm blacktop. You can hear the soft rubber of the tire pick up what is on the road and throw it towards the bottom of the car. I find it somehow soothing and I think it helps make something special slightly more so.
