The Blizzak LM-32 is Bridgestone's Performance Winter / Snow tire designed for sports cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans. Originally introduced in sizes for Aston Martin Rapide four-door sports cars, Blizzak LM-32 tires are now available in a wide range of sizes designed to help drivers maintain their vehicle's sporty appearance and wintertime mobility by providing traction on cold, dry, wet and snow-covered roads.

Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32The tread compound of Blizzak LM-32 tires feature unique polymer technology to enhance cold weather traction. This compound is molded into a directional design to combine hydroplaning resistance on wet and slush-covered roads with confident grip and braking traction in cold wintry conditions. Rounded shoulders promote dry and wet road handling while stepped independent tread blocks employing Lamellen edge effect sipes increase the number of biting edges to enhance grip in snow and on ice. This allows Blizzak LM-32 tires to combine winter traction with H-, V- or W-speed rated capability.

Blizzak LM-32 winter tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

NOTE: Snow platform indicators (the equivalent of snow wear bars) are molded into the Blizzak LM-32 tread grooves to inform the driver when ice and snow traction will be reduced as the tire's treadwear reaches the point where the remaining tread depth becomes less effective in deep snow.

Install Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tires in sets of four only.

Due to the traction capabilities of the Blizzak LM-32, Bridgestone recommends using Blizzak LM-32 tires in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.

...Driving in the rain - no issues with hydroplaning or breaking traction...

I just purchased these December 2016 for my Audi A4, which has the sports package (19" rims). I live in SF Bay Area and drive to Tahoe every weekend to ski. These handle fantastic in the snow and ice; hitting the brakes hard in the snow/ice and there is barely any slippage (< 25 mph). I drove through some hairy conditions today in Tahoe (Jan 22, 2017) and they were amazing. In addition, they are extremely quiet, more quiet than my all weather tires by Michelin. Dry handling is awesome as well. Driving in the rain - no issues with hydroplaning or breaking traction. I have pushed the car with these tires and without a doubt, I do not have any buyers remorse whatsoever and will purchase these again.

...Driving around in the rain waiting for the snow they were not very well planted and spun very easy...

I put these on my Mustang GT and was at first incredibly disappointed. Driving around in the rain waiting for the snow they were not very well planted and spun very easy. However as soon as the snow and ice hit these tires felt like track tires. On almost any snow or ice they gripped impressivly, I never slid under braking even with the track pack brembos, I was able to keep up with and in some cases pass subarus and trucks, comfortably cruised 50 MPH on hard snow pack on the interstate, was able to take off from stops on a sheet of ice. Very impressed, well worth the winter performance just drive a little less spirited while its raining.

These tires greatly improved my snow traction and braking abilities over a set of all seasons. Incredible difference. They also have excellent dry weather traction even in very cold conditions. Cornering ability is lacking a little but not bad for snow tires. Tread wear seems great for aggressive driving and occasionally spinning the tires. Overall excellent winter/snow tire for New England conditions.

...Excellent grip in snow and great turning response as well... I even took the car out ice fishing in 1 foot of snow with no issue.

These tires are fantastic, having tried many brands throughout the years including x ice I went back to blizzaks and am so glad I did. Excellent grip in snow and great turning response as well. They may wear out quicker than some because the compound is softer, but for my money I’d rather them wear out quicker than have a inferior performance tire that lasts longer. I even took the car out ice fishing in 1 foot of snow with no issue.

We just had our first snow fall of the year and I am entirely impressed with these tires. I had no trouble getting around in a few inches of snow. I even went up a very steep hill that can get slick just in wet and I kept applying power because the tires just gripped. Stopping was great and cornering gave me no problems. I was in awe. In dry, these tires do not have near the grip the stock P-Zero's have, but that is understandable. The tread block is much deeper, so when accelerating in dry, I can feel the car squirming around even when the tires aren't spinning. Again, that makes sense for the type of tires these are. I've had several front drive cars for winter driving and struggled getting around with them. We used to have a Honda Pilot and while it could accelerate in snow, turning and stopping was another (scary) story. If you have a Mustang or similar car, get these tires and drive it! They're not cheap, but cost less than an accident or buying another car to use in the winter.

...I have been shocked by how nice these Bridgestones are, including how stable and predictable they are with aggressive driving in the dry...

This tire is actually on my wife's 2009 Cayman. It is an everyday driver for a physician - truly in ALL weather - in the northeast near Boston. I bought the tires because my usual choice for her (Dunlops) was unavailable, but I have been shocked by how nice these Bridgestones are, including how stable and predictable they are with aggressive driving in the dry. And in ice and snow they are truly excellent and just plain fun. I think that the Cayman is under-appreciated as a snow car - it really is amazing. And these tires just make it even better. Driving at speed in poor conditions on these tires the car easily surpasses the best Audi setups that I have ever driven. Deep snow on a hill on my driveway can require some strategizing with the rear wheel drive only Cayman, but as I said, it still drives every day. This tire will be my first choice for her in the future.

...Performance on dry roads was surprisingly good too... I was impressed with the accelerating traction and cornering ability on the nicer winter days. Hard driving on dry roads will definitely wear down the treads quickly as I tore a few tread blocks off but overall what they are designed for they are excellent at.

These tires totally transformed by car in the snow. I went from larger good quality all season tires to these narrower blizzaks and went from being nervous in all snow & ice conditions to complete confidence. Car stopped WAY better, accelerated better and cornered much better in all snow/ice conditions. Performance on dry roads was surprisingly good too. I use them only in New England winters and colder temperatures. I was impressed with the accelerating traction and cornering ability on the nicer winter days. Hard driving on dry roads will definitely wear down the treads quickly as I tore a few tread blocks off but overall what they are designed for they are excellent at.

I needed a tire to fit the stock rims for winter. These fit and worked awesome. I drive this Challenger year round here in Michigan. No issues. These tires work in the snow and in the dry.
They are very good and I recommend them to anyone with horse power in the snow.

...Compared to DWS, LM-32 has more of a comfortable ride. The Bumps are well absorbed. Barely noticeable delay in handling probably due to soft side wall which I think improved the comfort of the vehicles...

I researched tires for my car which previously have Potenza 970 AS. I just experienced the worst winter since 95 in Boston. My Potenza had been impotent in winter condition so I decided to replace it initially with another A/S tires. I went with Continental Extreme Contact DWS A/S which is actually good in after Snow storm condition. But me and my wife are Essential workers which meant that no Snow days for us, Blizzard or not we are required to work. The DWS failed me during one of the blizzard these past 3 weeks so I went and returned it to the tire shop. I decided to have LM-32 instead. Good reviews too. It was snowing the day I got the tires. I immediately tested it on winter conditions. I came away very impressed, at least initially. Compared to DWS, LM-32 has more of a comfortable ride. The Bumps are well absorbed. Barely noticeable delay in handling probably due to soft side wall which I think improved the comfort of the vehicles. It grips Excellently on winter roads. Snow or just frozen/cold asphalt. It is amazing. It breeds confidence. I read about the guy who travels at 70 mph, who does that in a storm? The most I do is 45 mph. Running over occasional snow on the road is effortless on this tires. Will update more as time goes by

...For a deeper treaded tire the road noise is negligible...

Very pleased with the tire. Probably would have used a slightly shorter sidewall from an appearance standpoint but the tire performs well. Haven’t had much snowfall this winter but the bit we’ve had has been no problem. For a deeper treaded tire the road noise is negligible.
Unfortunately the only garage willing to install a customer’s own tires was bought out and the charge increased dramatically, so in the end I realized voles in savings.

...Great in moderate snow and ice with surprising comfort and grip. Not nearly the ride and handling trade offs I expected with winter tires...

The weather capability of these tires have exceeded expectations as have handling and (so far) tread wear. Great in moderate snow and ice with surprising comfort and grip. Not nearly the ride and handling trade offs I expected with winter tires. Only downside so far has been some additional noise and roughness while warming up the first few miles. Interested to see if favorable tread wear continues.

...At 20,000 miles, I do still have probably a season of total tread left, but am down to the snow wear bars, so wear is adequate...

My driving split is roughly 80% highway with 10% city and 10% winding roads, per day, for a total of 120mile daily commute. On the highway I definitely do not drive 15-25mph over the speed limit, and do enjoy tossing my vehicle around on the winding roads leading to and from the highway (almost no traffic, country roads). My 3-season tire is a Conti Extreme Contact DWS, and it suits my style well enough. Wanted a winter tire to match, and usually get the Blizzak LM-25RFT, but decided to switch it up 2 years ago. A mistake indeed. Although the ride is smooth and quiet (for a winter tire), the LM-32 are not a replacement for the wonderful LM-25. The LM-32 felt "skippy" in spirited driving on cold, dry pavement, like it was hydroplaning on dry asphalt. Well, ok, not a high performance tire, so I'll accept that, but even after slowing, they wanted to roll into turns, and any off camber turns causedthe tail to abruptly and unpredictably bounce out. In the rain, they felt solid in the first 5k miles, then started to get squirrely. By 15,000 miles, any on or off ramp had to be taken with extreme caution in the wet, and car understeers greatly even at very low speed in light snow. Deeper snow (1-4 inches, I have no ground clearance, so anything deeper and I take the truck), they have surprisingly good traction out of the hole, and stop well. Turn-in is also improved. Actually, the tires handle better in deep snow than on dry pavement. At 20,000 miles, I do still have probably a season of total tread left, but am down to the snow wear bars, so wear is adequate.
Pros: Treadwear, deep snow traction, quieter than most winter tires
Cons: Handling in all but deep snow is poor, does not inspire confidence

I think this tire will give me only three seasons ( 15k miles)...

I have a Dinan Performance updated BMW which puts out around 400hp. This is a great tire for a high performance coupe or sedan. I have yet to feel uncomfortable while giving it the beans. The only thing I may be concerned with is the softness. I think this tire will give me only three seasons (15k miles). We will see.

...Tread wear at over 40 degrees they just melt away...

Live in upstate NY, Catskill mountain region. Have heavy snow and frequent ice, many hills and curves. Bought package optional 18" wheels and tires (standard are 20" wheels). Tires are higher aspect than standard, how do I know? Speedometer did not need to be re-calibrated it still displayed correct speed. When inflated to recommended pressure my stability control would kick in under what I consider to be normal cornering on dry pavement. I had to run the pressure over 40psi in order to ameliorate this. Dry traction fair, wet fair, snow & ice quite good. Tread wear at over 40 degrees they just melt away. Our winter weather swings from -30 to +50 F. My main objection is to the handling and sway that kicks in the stability control. Perhaps had I stayed with the OEM 20" wheels with the lower aspect tires I would not have had this problem. Oh, why did I switch to 18"? I wanted to be able to rotate all 4 rather than just side to side. Never thought to do the same with 20".
