On-Road All-Terrain tires are for drivers who want a combination of focused on-road refinement, with some light off-road capability and all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. On-Road All-Terrain tires -may be- branded with the M+S and three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbols are sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on light-duty 4WD trucks, crossovers and sport utility vehicles.
O.E. On-Road All-Terrain light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four, or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the 3PMSF provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...They are very quiet on the highway and feel confident in the wet...
OEM tires on my 2021 Wrangler Limited Sport with Command-Trac 4WD system. On road, Command-Trac is rear wheel 2WD with a limited slip rear differential. The Wrangler JL corners nicely and I drive pretty hard. These Bridgestone Duelers grip well on twisty back roads in the hills. They are very quiet on the highway and feel confident in the wet.
I use 4WD-High in snow and can stop and start on the steepest hill in my area. I use 4WD-Low in rough forest trails and have not been stuck. However, being tuned more for on-road use the tread is not aggressive enough for sand or deep mud. The tread depth started at 11.0 mm and at 29500 miles, I measure 7.0 mm. They will probably go to about 43000 miles at 4.0 mm, which is my personal limit. I will definitely buy these tires again.

...Water traction is great! and going down the highay at 75 mph in a storm? All I can say is 15' rooster tail out the back while all the other vehicles are slowed down or pulling over...
I have these tires on my 2006 Hummer.. These are the best tires I have owned and drove on( of coarse this was on a all wheel drive Hummer) but these things wear like steel! Water traction is great! and going down the highay at 75 mph in a storm? All I can say is 15' rooster tail out the back while all the other vehicles are slowed down or pulling over. Ice and snow, I had no issues or problems here in upper west central Ohio..
I love these and am thinking of getting a set for my 2007 Silverado Z71
Customers praise the Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S for excellent snow and deep snow performance, with most winter traction scores between 7-10. Some noted ice traction as an area for improvement while maintaining solid all-terrain capability.

Great tires. Exceeded my expectations. Went through a snowstorm a couple weeks ago, 34,500 on the tires (regularly rotated). Handled great. Put the Jeep into 4 wheel drive, and where other cars and trucks were sliding backwards downhill, the Jeep slowly but surely crawled through it, with very minimal slippage. I have had lots of tires (Michelin, Goodyear, Big O), and the performance of these tires ranks with the best of them.

put these tires on 12/23/2009. Drove in a snow storm to Duluth,mn and back to Orr,mn, there was anywhere from 6-10 inches of snow on the roads, never used 4-wheel drive once, not even coming up the hills in Duluth. I have drove in all weather never a problem. I get 18-22 mpg, but I do coast to stop sign and rarely brake hard. I have had 3 wheel hubs go bad and had wore tires abnormaly ,and they will still hold the road. Will be putting on new set this spring!

Have 48,000 miles on the OE set on my Hummer. Replacing one because of road debris wrecking one of my fronts. Tires are wearing like iron...traction in Wisconsin winters is fantastic.

...Dry traction is very good on and off road (light off-roading)...
These tires have been a good general use tire. With good traction in the snow I drive confidently to and from work. Wet road traction isn't great, but acceptable. Dry traction is very good on and off road (light off-roading). With only 14000 miles on them, treadwear is hard to say. They don't seem to be doing bad though. I would buy them again.

...I have been very impressed with the traction of these tires in the dry and on the snow...
The dealer installed these tires on my truck right before I puchased it. At the time the truck had 60,000 miles on it. The truck now has 75,000 miles on it. I have been very proactive in managing the wear of these tires because I am and probably will remain a michelin man. I have roatated every 5,000 miles and even purchased the life time allignment so I can get it and keep it alligned. I have been very impressed with the traction of these tires in the dry and on the snow. I cant say the same for the wet acceleration traction. I know these are installed on a pick up so they are expected to do a lot when it is raning, but they do spin quite easily when it is wet. Stability and tracking is much better than I would expect from a tread designed in this manner. The tread wear is very even and they seem like they will last 50-60k. The only thing that is preventing me from purchaing these tires again is the road noise. Every mile they get louder and louder. I know they are an AT tire so they are not supposed to be quite, but they were quite when new so I was hoping they would stay that way. It isnt the case and a little disappointing for only having 15k on them. The more I rotate them the louder they seem to get. I can deal with it because new tires cost $1,000.
If I had to get new tires today, I would look at the getting a all season tire. My driving style doesnt take me of road much any more.

These were OEM tires. They had 38000 miles on them with (Approx 5K miles) tread left when I replaced them, in kind, this week. I am traveling thru W VA and KY to get to Cinci next week for the Holidays and didn't want 90% worn tires for the trip. The Jeep is a daily driver in stop-and-go City traffic and the wear has been exceptional. Traction is great and road noise is bearable.

never have I used a tire that wears so well,....i possible have another 10-15k miles left on them, the only thing I see is a very harsh ride in rough roads, but that can be from the Jepp suspention.

Terrible tread life and awful wet traction. This was the stock tire on my 2017 Sierra Denali Ultimate 4WD 6.2L. Tire has NOT lasted anywhere close to the mileage warranty. I am at 39,000 and the tires are completely bald on the outside tire shoulders (outside edges). Rotated every 5,000 miles or so religiously. The truck is completely stock and has no offroad use. Only pavement and highway driving, with occasional wet grass or dirt when backing a trailer or boat. The ride is great, very quiet and comfortable but I am already at replacement within the manufacture vehicle warranty and the dealer refused to replace or adjust the tires, as did Bridgestone. Good luck getting a call-back response if you inquire about a tread life warranty. Awful traction in any dirt or wet environments or boat ramps. Stay away unless you want new tires every 35,000 miles.

...Overall they are pretty quiet for A/Ts but they do roar a bit at around 30mph...
These have been the best A/T tires I have owned. They are better on road and off than both the factory junk, and the BFG A/Ts that I used for so long. At 60,000 miles and probably another 10,000 to go they are also by far the longest lasting. Overall they are pretty quiet for A/Ts but they do roar a bit at around 30mph. My next tires will be the Bridgestone Dueller Revo 2s, since they are a newer design and cheaper.

After 76,000 miles with lots of highway miles but also Kansas dirt/rock roads, no flats, no blowouts, great wear. Dirt roads loaded with flint rock and no damage. Only minor leaks after 70,000 miles. Just enough to set off sensor on one tire. Great tires!

...I have had this truck/tire combination for 4 years I am just now noticing noise and wear. I will be buying these again for sure.
Bought my truck with these tires all ready installed and quickly discovered why. Seemed like nothing would stop this truck/tire combination especially in deep snow. 4WD was not all ways necessary and was constantly towing out stuck cars, trucks and SUV's during some of the worst snow storms. Also went off road a lot and had fun on tank trails and a few training courses used for High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV). I have had this truck/tire combination for 4 years I am just now noticing noise and wear. I will be buying these again for sure.
