Falken ZIEX ZE001 A/S 

First, I'm the type of person who doesn't keep OE tires on my car. In fact, I cannot remember the last time I kept OE tires on a new car; they're normally gone in the first 1,000 miles of ownership. I am actually quite impressed by this tires. Mazda's are known for poor insulation and having more road noise than one would like. These tires actually do a great job staying quiet and do an awesome job at absorbing road noise, harshness, and vibration. Dry traction isn't bad at all for the 310ft-lbs of torque the 2.5Turbo has - it'll break them loose, but nothing excessive. Wet traction is quite pleasant as well. I have not experienced any significant hydroplaning that otherwise made me feel unsafe. I have no tried these in snow as I have winter tires for the New England parts.

I will say I've been quite pleased with these tires - shocking for as brutal ratings as I typically give tires. I'm not overly spirited in my driving. But for someone who enjoys and smooth and quite ride, these tires have been great for me. I would actually consider buying these again as shocking as that is for me to say. Treadwear seems fair for a softer tire - I'm confident I could get these to 30k miles safely after having already put 13k on them.

Driving around town and on the highway is silky smooth. Steering wheel has zero vibration, and chassis rides smooth. I should clarify I have all 4 tires roadforce balanced as I do with all of my tires.

This is the OEM tires for my 2018 Mazda 6 GT Reserve. I had the 2016 Mazda 6 GT with the Dunlops SP 5000 and these are much better. The Dunlops were only decent on everything but it was especially snow and ice. They are not anywhere as loud as the Dunlops, but they are not quiet. They performed good traction on dry and had decent grip in the corners. I even floored it in the rain and it performed well but traction control did come on for a few seconds. Before you get carried away this is a SUV tire not a performance tire. It's actually pretty good for a SUV tire.

I'm not sure why Mazda decided to use these as OEM for the Mazda 6 but it seemed they did their homework although I would of preferred something more sporty. As good as these tires are, I feel that they are holding back my 6 from being better in everything. I would recommend these if you had a SUV. I wouldn't if you have a sedan like the Mazda 6.

Good OEM tires. Have exceeded my expected miles. Noise started to creep up after 30k, but not too bad. Decent handling on dry/wet surfaces.

OEM tire on my wife's Forester. When we first got the car, I was skeptical as to how these tires would perform. Here we are, 19000 miles later and I'm pleased. Highway performance is smooth and quiet. I don't ever push this car to it's limits so I cannot speak to this tire's cornering or traction limits. Also, we swap out for winter/ice tires so I can't speak to snow or ice performance either. I'll keep these on until the tread wears out or they become noisy. So far so good!

27k miles on my Mazda6 and still going strong, 6/32" tread left. Rotated them twice before, every 10k miles or so. Very quiet and comfortable ride. Used them all year around in Southeastern Ontario, no issues if properly adapting the car's speed to the road conditions. Didn't drive them much in deep snow so I can't comment on that but good on dry, wet, slush and light snow. Very decent OEM tires from Mazda.

I can’t talk about wear because I only have about 4000 miles on them. I will switch to snow tires soon because all season tires can’t compare to dedicated snow tires. I’ve actually raced both cars and motorcycles but all I can say is that at street legal speeds these tires seem fine for grip in wet or dry conditions. I’m a quick driver, but I don’t push things on public streets.

So why am I writing this review? One of my primary reasons for buying this tire was because it had such a high rating on road noise. They are really, really quiet. The original stock tires were annoying loud, the Bridgestones for my second set were worse. These are terrific, great ride quality, not mushy, but not harsh and they are really quiet

Stock tires that came on 2021 Subaru Crosstrek. Every other low end A/S tire I have used in my 30 years of driving, and 15 vehicles, performed better. They have a surprising amount of road noise for a road tire, more than the Grabber AT2's I ran on my 2000 Forester. Wet traction is bad, these hydroplane easily, and snow is downright scary. Gravel roads after rain feel like driving on oiled marbles. Mud of any kind is out of the question. These were a terrible choice by Subaru, even when fully considering the actual use these cars will see.

These came standard on my 2021 Mazda 6. Only 10,000 miles on them and I'm replacing due to constant hydroplaning in the rain. Other issue is on cold mornings the tires bump around a lot until they warm up. They seem to be wearing normally and perform well on dry roads. I've had them rotated twice and they balance well. The hydroplaning issue is scary, never experienced anything like it in all my years of driving. I will be replacing these tires today with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 as a safety precaution.

Factory installed, they're okay in the dry, very dangerous / unsafe in the rain or wet road. Almost like driving on bald tires in the wet, 80% of the time they spin starting from a light and slide with the slightest quick stop. I'm switching to the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 PLUS that I have on another car, they are much better.

Worst tires I have ever seen. Any snow and your stuck. Would think factory tires would be a little better.

This has to be the worst tire I've had on a vehicle. I enjoy a nice twisting road and these tires are definitely not setup for that kind of driving. The turn in is not confidence inspiring. I am writing this review because we had a little snow with ice come through so I thought I would check the tires out. In our older Subaru with different tires I could take off decently. The new Subaru with these tires, there was a lot of spinning and wobble as the AWD fought for traction. The same when cornering. These tires would get very little grip and slide out of the desired direction. I plan to replace them long before they are needed.

I am absolutely not impressed with these tires. They came on my 2019 Nissan Rogue from the factory, I certainly will not be replacing them with the same tires. With only 22,000 miles on the clock, these tires are already not only halfway worn out, but they're not evenly worn. The tires are between 6/32 and 4/32 all around despite the tires be rotated on time and having an easy life as I am a very gentle driver. They are also make quite a bit of noise in my opinion. And they don't really have very good so traction as the car slid around quite a bit and felt unstable in the snow. The only good thing I have to say about them is they are not really dry rotted even though they are almost 5 years old and spent the majority of their life in South Florida. 10/10 would not recommend.

These are my stock tires and I already have to replace them with a new set of 4, not even a 3 year old car. I’m driving mostly in the city and occasionally a dirt road up to the trail, live in CO. Haven’t experienced a lot of snow driving, so can’t really comment on that. Nothing special.

Haven't even got 7k miles out of them and they need replaced. Absolutely unacceptable. I even drove straight from local shop that mounted and installed, to ar reputable shop for complete alignment check because the previous set had an unusual wear pattern.

These tires came OE on my 2019 Ascent. My Ascent has 30,000 miles on it, but I swap winter tires, so this set had around 20,000 on it

They're downright bad in winter weather. They are down the wear bars already and need to be replaced.

I'm really disappointed that Subaru picks such subpar tires to put on their vehicles.

If you have these, keep an eye on your tread depth as these wear quick.
