The Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico is Pirelli's Street/Sport Truck All-Season tire developed for the North American market to be used on powerful crossover and sport utility vehicles, as well as pickups possessing very sporting dispositions. Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico tires are designed for drivers looking for style, handling and traction for America's dry, wet and wintry conditions, even including occasional light snow.
The Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico radial's high performance all-season tread compound provides progressive grip when cornering. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design that features a notched outboard shoulder rib to enhance steering response, cornering stability and high-speed precision. Special Z-profile intermediate tread blocks flank a continuous center rib to blend foul-weather traction with acoustic comfort while wide circumferential grooves evacuate water to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to enhance handling and high-speed durability.
Limited sizes of the Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico are available with Pirelli Noise Cancelling System, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.
Note: Size 295/40R22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico MO1 (Mercedes Original Equipment) is not branded with the M+S symbol, nor intended to be serviced, stored or driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

Great handling and significantly improved wet traction over other tires in size and load range...
Great handling and significantly improved wet traction over other tires in size and load range. Good looking tire with compound and performance to handle the stress by heavy pickup and towing.

...The wet traction has never left me skiddish and mud traction I was pleasantly surprised with by not getting stuck...
I am not one to typically write a review, however my experience with these tires has been great. I drive the -------- out of my truck at times and have been impressed, so much so that I am on my second set at 116,000 miles. I do rotate and balance at every oil change and think that helps. I don't tow often but I occasionally haul heavy loads but I do think I'm a drag racer and autocrosser at times. The wet traction has never left me skiddish and mud traction I was pleasantly surprised with by not getting stuck. It's time for another set and I will purchase again. 60,000 for a set of performance tires... I'm in!

...Performance is breath taking, with remarkable grip in cornering (even in wet conditions)...
For a driver like me, who doesnt get off the beaten path, because I want to be seen...in the hottest ride, the Scorpion Zero is unparalled in every category (even the ones you cant rate)! Performance is breath taking, with remarkable grip in cornering (even in wet conditions), take-off drive, responsiveness, stability...there is just not another tire that I have ever driven on that put so much power to the pavement (and kept it there!!!). The unrated category is that the Scorpion Zeros looks and appeal completely enhance the vehicles sex appeal. They are as much a styling enhancement at the 22" rims they ride on. The same tires are on my truck, that are on Formula One race cars (the winners cars at least)...yeah you gotta love that too!

Most customers report strong winter traction with scores of 8-10 in snow and deep snow, highlighting confident grip in typical all-season conditions. While ice traction shows more variability (scores 5-8), many find it adequate for light winter use.

...The 4 wheel drive F150 with these tires does great in light snow (we live in Michigan)...
Second set on this truck, first set lasted 60,000. Great all around tire that performs well in just about all conditions. The 4 wheel drive F150 with these tires does great in light snow (we live in Michigan) and has great summer traction for an all season tire.

...I also tested them in a snow blizzard one winter and they handled fairly deep snow without any noticeable issues...
We bought these tires for my wife's SUV a couple of years ago and we have been very happy with them. The ride is quiet and comfortable yet they offer a very confident cornering stability in all road conditions and driving situations. As an amateur race car driver I like to test my car's limits from time to time and I gotta tell you, these tires never disappointed me. I also tested them in a snow blizzard one winter and they handled fairly deep snow without any noticeable issues. As for treadwear, even after 20k miles on them, the tires feel as good as new. A definite winner, which I recommend highly.

...For dry weather, these tires are great, I have no complaints...
I got these tires for my BMW X6, 295 fronts and 335 rears on 22" wheels. I've put about 15,000 miles on them, mostly summer and dry weather driving. For dry weather, these tires are great, I have no complaints. The tread wear is decent, road noise is low, you do feel bumps in the road due to the low profile. I would NOT recommend these if you have any driving to do in snowy/icy conditions. I have X Drive all wheel drive and despite that, my X6 fishtails and slides all over the place in icy conditions. I've literally driven down the block, turned back and decided to go home due to basically fishtailing on every turn even if I'm going slow. I would keep these tires as my summer set and get something else for the winter.

...Living in N. Nevada, I choose tires primarily for dry traction and drive accordingly when it's rarely wet or in snow...
I've got 84k miles now on my Element. Just purchased my second set of Pirelli SCORPION ZERO ASIMMETRICO tires. The first set I chose to mount on aftermarket wheels when I purchased the vehicle new. When this set wore out at 42,000 miles, I chose an Asian brand to replace due to the savings involved. I was planning to replace these at the end of the summer, but one was recently damaged and needed replacement so I replaced them all.
Going back to the Pirelli tires revealed a sharp contrast in comfort and noise reduction. The Pirelli tires also out performed the Asian brand. Now that they're more competitively priced, for me there's no choice.
Living in N. Nevada, I choose tires primarily for dry traction and drive accordingly when it's rarely wet or in snow.

...The ride is so smooth and comfortable, so much more than the OE... It is a real joy to get behind the wheel of such a nice driving vehicle.
I love these tires. The ride is so smooth and comfortable, so much more than the OE. I'm the original owner with 86k miles on the truck. I'm hoping that these tires last as long or longer than the two previous sets of another brand. I've been getting 40-45k ware out of the previous tires, but anticipate additional mileage from these new ones, as they have a harder compound. It is a real joy to get behind the wheel of such a nice driving vehicle.

KPirelli were OEM tires- so I rekplaced first set with the same--- not many choices in the 235/45R20 sizes anyways--- these are fine tires-- no flat spotting, quiet, responsive-- will be hard to beat at next repoacement time

I don't want a highway failure with the hot summer approaching. Basically, these are excellent tires, and you can expect almost 50,000 miles from them. I'm happy and don't want to experiment with anything new. Plus the price is quite reasonable.
...Went 40k miles and the camber finally got them. Still had life due to proper rotations.
I had this tire on my lowered with slight camber 2014 Jeep SRT. Probably the best tire Ive ever owned. Went 40k miles and the camber finally got them. Still had life due to proper rotations.
