The P Zero All Season Plus Elect is Pirelli's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for drivers of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) looking for enhanced performance specifically tailored to a BEVs unique characteristics. Derived from the well-rounded, non-Elect P Zero All Season Plus, the Elect model is designed to provide familiar, high levels of year-round performance while offering increased focus on important BEV metrics.
An advanced, all-season compound designed to provide the tire's essential low rolling resistance is molded into a proven, asymmetric pattern engineered to balance traction, energy consumption, and noise comfort. Robust tread blocks help stabilize the footprint under the intense cornering loads and high longitudinal forces created from the high-torque motors and low center of gravity found on many BEVs. Along with providing immediate acceleration, BEVs' electric motors offer quieter operation than their internal combustion engine counterparts, making tire noise attenuation a higher priority. The P Zero All Season Plus Elect leverages the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System (PNCS), which utilizes a layer of sound-absorbing foam adhered to the inner liner of the tire. The PNCS is designed to reduce cavity and airborne sounds, helping lower cabin noise. The Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect also aims to offer improved levels of wet and winter weather traction that fall in line with the tire's more traction-focused, non-BEV specific counterparts.
Internal construction of the P Zero All Season Plus Elect features twin steel belts and a reinforced, two-ply polyester casing engineered to manage BEVs' higher axle loads while maximizing comfort. Two polyamide reinforcement plies are included to maintain predictable handling and high-speed stability while helping promote even tread wear.

...Grip is drastically improved, especially in the wet...
Very pleased with these tires. Replaced and old set of Nitto performance tires with these. Much quieter and smoother ride. Grip is drastically improved, especially in the wet. Great all around tire. Will not be running in Snow though, have dedicated set for winter.

...Great grip and handling, no issues in rain - I think the aggressive tread is good at channeling water out...
Surprisingly aggressive looking tread for all season tires - looks more like a summer tire. These have performed very well for me over the past year. Great grip and handling, no issues in rain - I think the aggressive tread is good at channeling water out. Have not had appreciable snow to comment on that. I recommend these and will get them again if available.

Winter traction receives mostly 7-10 scores, with many praising reliable grip in mixed snow conditions. A minority note reduced ice performance in extreme cold.

...I've been through several snow storms and plenty of wet weather with them. The car stops better with them...
These tires are very sporty and handle without fear of them letting go. I've been through several snow storms and plenty of wet weather with them. The car seems to stop better with them. I've rotated them every oil change and they are wearing evenly. The only thing is when you rotate them they make a hum for like 5 or 600 Miles. But it goes away. My thinking is that because they are directional the fronts wear differently and then when they get on the back the rubber has to smooth out. Still a really good tire though. When the mood strikes me and I want to give her a little push around the corners she holds nice and I would buy these again.

...you can easily feel the tires being so hard when temperature is below 40 degree (F). ride quality drops drastically and road doesn't feel that butter smooth anymore. in AWD mode, you can drive in cold with no problems, or in light snow...
Summary: Great tires for summer and light rain. Still great under heavy rain if you have AWD car. Any condition worse like really cold and rain or snow, I wouldn't trust these tires to drive somewhere. Here are some experiments I've done:
1- Summer: great traction and cornering at speed, slightly more comfortable ride compared to my old run-flat A/S tires (from a decent brand). well responsive to immediate reactions.
2- Fall: still great under light rain or chilling temperatures. runs great with AWD setup. I also configured my car to RWD (using some software), then you can feel the back of the car sliding easily when reaching at 4000 RPM in 1st (or 2nd) gear from standing still under rain. Keep in mind this is a 245 HP car.
3- Winter: you can easily feel the tires being so hard when temperature is below 40 degree (F). ride quality drops drastically and road doesn't feel that butter smooth anymore. in AWD mode, you can drive in cold with no problems, or in light snow. But as I experimented today in 6" snow in NY, it was a great challenge to move it out of parking lot to clean and drive back where my X1 with different brand A/S tires had no problems. don't even consider these tires if you have RWD car. you will be stuck snow in 30 secs, tested and approved.

...On dry pavement these tires are awesome. Great responsiveness in the twisties and good traction overall...
Decent tires. My actual vehicle is a 1974 Plymouth Duster (Chose it's slightly bigger cousin the Roadrunner as it was the only option). With upgraded aftermarket suspension so it handles and corners much better than stock.
On dry pavement these tires are awesome. Great responsiveness in the twisties and good traction overall. Good comfort levels, noise levels is fairly good. On wet pavement, traction and cornering became a little sketchy at times but tolerable. However in winter it starts to have problems: In light snow 1 inch (2.5cm) and under it's ok, did alright in light slushy conditions. In deeper snow over 1 in. (2.5cm) it starts fall flat fast. Practically useless in 4 inches (10cm) or more snow/slush. Poor performance in icy conditions. Summary: The tires are great in dry conditions and does have good/tolerable performance capabilities on wet roads. These are decent in light snow conditions only. I've driven in 3+ inches of snow before using dedicated winter tires with no issues. I actually tried to drive in 3.5 to 4 inches of snow with these tires before as a test. I made it to about 600 feet before I couldn't go anywhere. And that's with over 100lbs in the trunk. I put the winter tires on and had no issues after that.

...The ride is smooth... comfort and noise is decent...
For the price, their unbeaten. The ride is smooth, grips the ground on tight turns. I really don’t worry about them when it rains and comfort and noise is decent I believe I purchased 3 sets already and that’s my only gripe…they really only last me a year but for the price I can’t complain ..love them

...I have rotated them and 303 treated the outside every oil change. I swear after 16,553 miles of fairly aggressive driven miles, the tires/tread look brand new...
To start off, the helpful information and kindness of the Tire Rack employees I delt with, was amazing to say the least. This is coming from someone who spent 17 years in customer service. I will never buy tires anywhere else. As for the tires, for an affordable ultra-high performance, exceeded all expectations. They definitely are not as quality and high performing as Toyo's but not far off. The price makes you second guess purchasing them. At a third of the cost of other brands in this category, I was blown away at how close they performed to the best. I treated mine with 303, inside and out the day they arrived. I have rotated them and 303 treated the outside every oil change. I swear after 16,553 of fairly aggressive driven miles, the tires/tread look brand new. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Have been Very pleased with this set of tires. I have had Continentals, Michelin, and Dunlop on this car and none have had as good of tire wear as these. BMW Z-3's are known for wearing the inside of the tires Very quickly due to the camber of this car. I drove from Fl to Iowa just after buying these, and the wear is not even noticeable at this time. The wet performance is very good, even in the Florida Summer thunder storms. For the money these are the best I have had on this car in her 22 years. Will defiantly buy again when needed.

These tires are on a restored 69 Camaro with a 600 hp 496 Big Block. I show these tires no mercy. I bought them in 2012 and it is 2023 and the fronts still look like new. The rears are another story, but of course there is a reason for that. They still hold air and have a minimal amount of tread. They are very quiet to my knowledge. My car is not quiet, so not sure I would hear the tires anyway. They are the best looking tire out on the market and what a great value! I would definitely buy again!
