The optimized tread block contour and pitch sequence enhances noise comfort and combines with the wide tread pattern design to promote faster steering response. The Hitrac All Season's shoulders feature specially designed evacuation grooves to further increase lateral response, while working in conjunction with the large, circumferential grooves to disperse water from the contact patch for improved wet weather performance and hydroplaning resistance. 3D sipe technology in the tread blocks continue to aid traction in wet and wintry weather.
Internal construction of the Hitrac All Season consists of a two-ply, polyester casing engineered to damp out impacts on rough roads. Two steel belts with a single, polyamide reinforcement are utilized for durability and high-speed stability.

...Wet performance is where I've been more impressed. Standing water on the highway is where cheap all-seasons usually show their limits, and these hold line better than I expected. No squirreliness, no pulling, braking feels confident...
Running these on a Lexus ES 300h in 205/65R16, mostly Texas highway miles. Conditions here are hot pavement, long interstate stretches, and the occasional torrential downpour where visibility drops to nothing. Dry performance is a non-event in the best sense — predictable, tracks straight, no surprises. I drive with more commitment through corners than the average US driver, carrying speed up to where understeer would start, and the tires handle that without protest. Worth noting the car can break them loose on hard launches from a stop, which says more about hybrid instant torque than the tire, but worth knowing if you’re driving something with similar low-end punch. Wet performance is where I’ve been more impressed. Standing water on the highway is where cheap all-seasons usually show their limits, and these hold line better than I expected. No squirreliness, no pulling, braking feels confident. Noise is really low. What I hear is almost entirely road texture — concrete sections and coarse asphalt come through, but on smooth asphalt the tires basically disappear. No drone, no hum of their own. Better than most all-seasons I’ve had. Ride is comfortable, though I’d hesitate to give the tire full credit — the 65-series sidewall is doing a lot of the work. One thing that surprised me: the sidewalls feel softer than other reviews led me to expect. I’ve seen “stiff sidewall” thrown around for this model and that hasn’t matched my experience — noticeable flex in hard cornering, more than my previous set. Not a complaint, just a calibration point for anyone shopping based on that reputation. Small thing I love: the tire size on the sidewall is printed huge — characters over an inch tall. Trivial to read at a glance. Wish every manufacturer did this. Bottom line: if these satisfy a tire nerd, they’ll be a solid choice for most drivers. Can’t speak to track-pretend driving, but that’s not who these are aimed at anyway.

I can stand on the gas when pulling out now in the wet and even while making a turn from a stop.
I did extensive research on a lot of different brands of tires before purchasing the VREDESTEIN HTRAC ALL SEASONS because the new tires that were on the 2019 Honda Odyssey when I purchased it were just Awful and made starting out in the wet scary and dangerous. The Hankook Mavis Traction tires spun immediately when starting out in wet weather. We tried Eco mode when it rained that was slightly better but finally checked reviews on the Hankook Mavis tires and found similar reviews of scary, and dangerous in wet conditions. I used all the tools available on Tire Racks Site to compare different brands and styles. Having been in the Auto Service business for 45 years I was surprised when my research landed on the Vredesteins and I couldn’t be happier with them. I can stand on the gas when pulling out now in the wet and even while making a turn from a stop. They are also quieter and handle better at highway speeds and off ramps. If you’re looking for a high quality All Season tire with great wet traction check the reviews on Vredesteins. You won’t be disappointed.

The Vredestein HiTrac excels in winter traction, with most snow and deep snow scores hitting 8-10. Ice performance is strong (many 7-8s), though a few lower ratings suggest occasional variability in extreme icy conditions.

I'm impressed with the wet and snow traction these tires have. Dry traction is good, too. The tread design lends itself to a real all-season tire. Never even heard of this brand before, and only time will tell how well they hold up, but so far so good.

...I do feel confident with these tires and do check them for stopping distance several times in the snow on each drive. They perform well.
Received them just in time for a wet snowy winter. So far very good. They are a wee bit noisy, but perhaps just breaking in and not too bad. I do feel confident with these tires and do check them for stopping distance several times in the snow on each drive. They perform well.

...the dry traction is really good too. You won't be disappointed if you try them.
I love these tires. I pout them on my 2006 Scion xB several years ago and they blew me away. They are excellent in every way. I didn't like the Yokohamas on my wife's Prius so I put these on it since I loved them so much on my xB. On my xB I drive a lot more aggressively and they make the car feel like a go cart. My wife is a mild driver so they will work great for her too. The wet traction is excellent and the dry traction is really good too. You won't be disappointed if you try them.

I buy tires based on wet traction, comfort, and durability. I wanted to try something other than a Michelin, and these were highly rated. Wet traction has been excellent. I have enjoyed a very smooth and quiet ride. Road wear has been good so far, but too early to tell about long-term wear. Very happy with the purchase.

...Very comfortable ride and responsive when needed...
I’m rating these early on to help other Subaru Forester owners. I ran 2 set of Vredestein tires on my Volkswagen SportWagen and was so happy to see they had an offering for the Forester. I was concerned where they’re a high mileage tire that they would be loud but they’re no different than the OEM Falken. The performance on the other hand is superior to the OEM tires. Very comfortable ride and responsive when needed. I highly recommend these tires.
Treadwear ratings are overwhelmingly positive, with most customers scoring 9s and 10s. The Vredestein HiTrac demonstrates excellent long-term durability and consistent wear patterns, excelling in all-season Grand Touring conditions.

...The tread wear is great and I expect or hope to get another 50000+ miles...
A dollar well spent on these four tires. Ride is smooth and fairly quiet, with plenty of summer rain here in Florida I feel very confident when on a city street or freeway. The tread wear is great and I expect or hope to get another 50000+ miles. Yes I would purchase again.

Overall amazing tires. Price is excellent and tread wear is great. My 4th set (4 dif cars) Don’t expect crisp steering feel from these. But they are great overall. Highway, 40-50mph rolling twisty semi rural roads they are fine. Very confident in med-heavy rains.
