The Hypertrac All Season is Vredestein's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for drivers of sports cars, coupes, and powerful sedans who want high-speed capability and predictable handling in dry and wet conditions, combined with year-round performance, even in light snow.
The asymmetric tread design of the Hypertrac All Season utilizes a year-round compound, with wider outboard tread elements for quicker steering response and agile dry handling. The high void pattern and optimized groove design evacuates water from the contact patch, where a specially-tuned polymer blend compound helps maintain sure-footed wet performance. Zigzag sipes and other biting edges incorporated into the tread design further improve wet and snow traction.
Beginning in the 27th week of 2021, Vredestein updated the compound of the Hypertrac All Season in an effort to improve traction in the wet and snow. Though the benefits of the revised compound are best realized by installing a complete set of four tires on a vehicle, Vredestein has indicated tires with the new compound are mixable in any quantity with tires featuring the original compound.
Any Hypertrac All Season tire with a DOT TIN manufacture date of 2721 or later features the updated compound. For easy identification, the Original and Revised compound tires are identified with a clarifier on the Specs page and in the search results.
Internal construction of the Hypertrac All Season consists of a two-ply, polyester casing to provide a smooth, comfortable ride. Twin steel belts with a single polyamide reinforcement ply bolster high speed stability and promote responsive handling.

...Wet traction is great, but I would expect this with new tires.
These tires seem to be quieter than the previous Pilots. Too early to tell about snow yet. Wet traction is great, but I would expect this with new tires.

...better wet traction and resistance to hydroplaning than any of the other tires I've used.
These are by far the best I've purchased from Tire Rack. Better than General G-Max, Kumho Majesty 9 Solus, Continental Extreme Contact, or BF Goodrich G-Force that I've purchased in the past. Longer tread life, quieter, and better wet traction and resistance to hydroplaning than any of the other tires I've used.

Tires had a tremendous amount of grip even in wet compared to the OE and Goodyear tires that I had on the vehicle prior to these. Despite the small power plant this car has it was fairly easy to lose traction on acceleration from a stop prior to getting these tires. I have been greatly pleased with how well it grips in both wet and dry.

Really good quality tires that perform well in dry, wet, and snow conditions. Ice traction is a bit weak, but I have found this with every tire that wasn't studded. Road noise is modest and ride quality is excellent. Note, I've been a 1st Responder in the Tahoe basin with a lot of bad weather driving experience (going fast too). I'm very pleased with these tires and feel they are a great, cost-effective choice.

...They also perform in all three conditions very well - dry, wet, and snow...
I have Vredestein tires on all of my cars. So that should tell you something! These tires from this manufacturer are a hidden gem. The tires are extremely quiet and comfortable. They also perform in all three conditions very well - dry, wet, and snow. I would recommend them to anyone looking for replacement tires. Tires also hold up very well and tread wear is exceptional.

Significantly improved tracking and steering response as compared to OE tires, even in wet conditions. Surprisingly quiet. Did not intend to use these for winter driving, but we were hit with a surprise snowstorm before I had a chance to change over to my winter tires. The Hypertracs performed superbly in two inches of slushy snow.

...The latter are the most comfortable and best performing tires i'ne ever owned... the 17's are much more comfortable.
i have 2 sets of wheel/tires. original 18 with newer Coopers and the 17 Vredisteins. The latter are the most comfortable and best performing tires i'ne ever owned. I went with Vredistein because they are rated better for wintery conditions if we ran into any in a trip North and the 17's are much more comfortable.

...And tread wear is fantastic in my daily spirited driving! Still look brand new after 9000 hard miles on the Type S!...
What a great tire! I've had most of the Vredestein line and bought these as a 'hold over' for winter driving til I "found something better...", well, you won't! These not only handle superb in dry and wet, but the winter handling is next level! For an ultra high perf all season tire?! It's shocking how well they do in the snow. Better than any tire I've had maybe barring a snow tire! Great job on these!
And the performance handling is excellent as well. Super quiet and just a great all around performance all season tire! And tread wear is fantastic in my daily spirited driving! Still look brand new after 9000 hard miles on the Type S! :)
