Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires are for drivers who want a combination of sophisticated low-profile tires/large rim diameter wheels to enhance their vehicle's appearance with all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD light- and medium-duty crossover and sport utility vehicles.
O.E. Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.

Feedback demonstrates the Toyo A23 delivers strong dry traction (scores 9-10) and reliable wet performance (7-10), with many customers praising confident handling in typical all-season conditions. Comfort receives positive marks for a smooth, quiet ride (7-10), though a few note occasional harshness. Winter traction shows significant concerns, with frequent low scores (0-6) for snow/ice performance. Treadwear patterns are mixed-some report satisfactory longevity (7-10), but many cite rapid wear (scores 0-5) as a key drawback. While excelling in everyday driving scenarios, its limited cold-weather capability and inconsistent tread life may deter drivers prioritizing winter readiness or long-term value.

...No hydroplane, good wet & dry traction...
Stock on my CX-5 and is proving to be a great tire for us. Set cruse at 72 and get 33+ mpg. No hydroplane, good wet & dry traction. Low noise unless very rough texture pavement. Have 45K and will probably get 60K. Even wear.

...However, they corner well, have very good wet and dry traction and were flawless in 2-3 of snow last winter...
The treadwear rating is the same as my Pilot Supersport Summer tires on my sports car and they wear like it. That's disappointing. However, they corner well, have very good wet and dry traction and were flawless in 2"-3" of snow last winter. They have done well enough in off-road situations like rough 2 track logging roads, but required large amounts of intervention by the traction control, sometimes. I hope to fine tires that are better off-road for the next set. I'm sure they are the reason the CX-5 feels so much like a sporty car. They are STUPID expensive.

These tires were on my Mazda CX-5 factory OEM, so far they are responsive and very good in the rain. I am very impressed with how quiet they are! I can't comment on snow and ice because I have not fully experienced those conditions yet.( based on a 19 inch diameter I am not optimistic, unfortunately it's hard to find a 19 inch snow tire) Tread wear seems normal but is also to soon to judge. I will do a follow up review in a few months since I live in a high snow area.

The tire delivers confident grip and responsive handling in dry conditions, aligning well with its Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season design. While a few ratings dip to 5-7, the majority reflect excellent dry performance.

...Whisper quiet on the highway, very good dry traction, comfortable enough yet pretty darn responsive for a grand touring tire...
Have to say these tires have far exceeded my tenuous expectations so far. No winter experience yet so I can't comment there but for an OE A/S tire, very happy. Whisper quiet on the highway, very good wet and dry traction, comfortable enough yet pretty darn responsive (thanks also to Mazda) for a grand touring tire...fast forward to SEP 2016! On my second set now after trying Pirelli P7 and being very disappointed in comparison. Never ran them in snow as I have a dedicated 17" package from year 1 but for 40+k miles in 3 seasons/year in the CX-5 in my experience these tires are very well matched (if not specifically designed for) the vehicle and get my high recommendation if you have that (or similar) vehicle.

...They are quiet and comfortable on the highway...
This tire came OEM on my car. Nearing 40,000, I am trying to decide if I should nurse them through another Chicago winter. They have never proven to be capable in the snow and slide easily. They are quiet and comfortable on the highway and do well in most wet situations. Unfortunately for the price and performance, I will not be going back to this brand and will most likely replace them with the Continental Truecontact which now comes in the size I need.

...They're relatively comfortable and are a great set of tires, considering they're OEM.
These tires came with my Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. They've lasted an amazing 68,000 miles and still have 3/32" left, so they're probably last a little past 70,000. They've done so much better than I expected in terms of mileage, but I only drive warm weather highway conditions. They're relatively comfortable and are a great set of tires, considering they're OEM.

...They are a bit noisy, but that is an issue with the vehicle as well.
The CX-5 is my wife's daily driver and our trip vehicle. The Toyo's have worn evenly and have not become noisier as they have worn down. Expected tread life in our 70% highway 30% City use looks to be about 36,000-40,000 miles. They are a bit noisy, but that is an issue with the vehicle as well. Handling has been very good on all surfaces, including some slick roads during this winter. The only impediment in replacing them with the same tire is cost. These are about 30% higher than most other brands.

Winter traction ratings reveal concerning performance, with many scores between 0-4. Customers report slippery conditions, getting stuck, and lack of snow/ice grip. While some rate 7-8, the Toyo A23's winter handling disappoints for an all-season tire.

Tread wear has been good; Mazda dealership rated the tire tread at 7/10 after 10,000 miles. Handles well in dry conditions. Noisy on the highway though. Would NOT recommend for anywhere that it snows. I have AWD on my Mazda CX-5 and these tires corner extremely poorly in snow even light snow, resulting in fishtailing. I would not buy these tires again and wish Mazda has not equipped them as stock on the CX-5.

...I have had them for 2 winters now (living in New England) with AWD. These are by far the worst performing all seasons if you are considering trying to get away with not using winter tires for an AWD. They slip and slide and provide absolutely NO confidence on the road in light snow...
Many people read these reviews trying to determine what they can expect in the way of performance after spending $600-1000 on tires. Do Not but the Toyo A23's. On a dry surface, they are at best average compared with all of the tires I have had in the past. The wear is terrible - I think I may get 20-25K out of them if I'm lucky. I have had them for 2 winters now (living in New England) with AWD. These are by far the worst performing all seasons if you are considering trying to get away with not using winter tires for an AWD. They slip and slide and provide absolutely NO confidence on the road in light snow. I had them as OEM and Mazda should be embarrassed that they considered these as OEM - they greatly detract from an otherwise nice car.

My wife had these tires straight from the factory. Very easy/slow driver and the tread was essentially gone after 26,500 miles. Super super disappointed in the treadlife. Not great in the snow but otherwise an excellent tire. They just didnt last and for that, I would never buy again. Not to mention, these tires are expensive!!

Just turned 36,200 highway miles and the tires are worn to the treadbars and probably won't pass NC inspection requirements... tread wear isn't what I expected and for the price these go for I would have like another 10K or so.
