Toyo's Extensa A/S II is a versatile Grand Touring All-Season tire for passenger cars, minivans, SUVs, CUVs, and light trucks developed for drivers seeking a balance of comfort, fuel efficiency, and long tread life, plus all-season traction, even in light snow.
Toyo's Extensa A/S II's special silica compound is molded into a symmetric, three-rib tread design to create even contact pressure with the road surface for reliable dry handling. Four full-depth circumferential grooves with zig-zag lateral voids successfully evacuate water from the contact patch to the shoulder slots for hydroplaning resistance and multi-wave sipes assist traction in wet and slippery weather.
The Toyo Extensa A/S II's internal construction consists of two steel belts atop a two-ply polyester casing. A nylon reinforcement ply further stabilizes the tread to provide high-speed handling and durability.

...Wet traction is good, and predictable break away when it does start to slip...
The tires wear well, provide good dry traction. Wet traction is good, and predictable break away when it does start to slip. Great economy tire for commuting. Unfortunately, I tend to push things hard than they need to be, and these tires do not work for any kind of spirited driving. The sidewalls are very soft, so the tires numb steering feels, and react late. They, most definitely, are just a tires for going from a to b commuting. They are quite comfortable, even with the pt cruiser's terrible suspension, and reduced a lot of the shudder that resonates throughout the car.
Definitely recommend for your daily driver, or the average commuter.

These are great tires and I have them on two vehicles now. I live in a snowy area and I feel these tires do a good enough job that I can avoid snow tires on front wheel/all wheel drive SUVs. I would get these again for sure.

...These have the best tread wear and traction out of any other tire in this category on the market...
Tire Rack had these tires in stock when I couldn't find them anywhere else local or online. These tires are some of the best all around grand touring tires on the market. Everyone knows how good of a tire Toyo makes. Their R888s are the best on the market for high 🐴 power applications. These have the best tread wear and traction out of any other tire in this category on the market. My 99 Aurora deserved the best GT tire I could find for it and I couldn't have picked anything better at the price point they were at. My car rides the way cars are supposed to ride with these tires and with the suspension setup on the car. G body GMs from the nineties like the riviera and aurora had the strongest frame GM ever built for a car and their ride quality was second to none. With these tires, I can say the aurora has the greatest ride quality of any car built in the last 25 years.

...The taller tire seems to help improve the ride in comfort and appearance...
I wanted a taller tire for my Tacoma 2WD, but not a fatter tire. 215/75R15 is slightly taller than OE. I think the OE tires are undersized. They look too small within the wheel well. Even CUVs ride on bigger tires. The taller tire seems to help improve the ride in comfort and appearance.
The Toyo tires are well balanced. If you align the valve to yellow circle imprinted on the tire, you should get a near perfect balance. I only needed one 1/4 oz wheel weight on 1 tire, the other 3 tires were balanced without any wheel weights. Note, I did remove the TPMS valves and went with regular valve stems. Previously I had Dunlops, each wheel had 1.5 to 2 oz of wheel weights attached--and they never seem to be balanced right.

My priorities were value, quiet, and comfort and these are the tires that were recommended by a local tire shop that is very well-respected... The Toyos seem to be fulfilling my priority list quite well though and I'm very pleased with the change.
My priorities were value, quiet, and comfort and these are the tires that were recommended by a local tire shop that is very well-respected. They replaced the original Bridgestones that were 6 years old, worn, and probably quite hard, so any tire probably would have been a huge improvement. The Toyos seem to be fulfilling my priority list quite well though and I'm very pleased with the change.
