Truck/SUV Tires for Every Job, Trail, or Commute

Tire Rack is your source for all things truck tires. We know trucks aren’t one-size-fits-all, and truck tire options are as varied as the trucks on the road. That’s why our selection of truck tires spans nine sub-categories across five performance categories.

Are you a daily commuter who rarely sees a road that isn’t paved? Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season and Highway All-Season tires offer both all-season and all-weather options tailored for a quiet, comfortable ride, day after day.

Looking for a more rugged aesthetic or hitting the trails? We have a full line-up of all-terrain tires across five sub-categories, each with its own prioritized focus from On-Road All-Terrain to Max Traction or “Mud Tires.” So, whether you hit the trails on rare occasions, you’re a serious off-roader, or navigate tough job sites, the perfect all-terrain is available at Tire Rack.

Have something more niche in mind? We carry both summer performance/street and winter truck tires. No matter your truck tire needs, the perfect solution awaits. Shop by vehicle or use our Tire Decision Guide today.

Absolutely! We offer a great selection of truck tires in various sizes designed to perform in winter conditions. Looking for reliable safety and control year-round? We carry Street/Sport Truck All-Season tires just for that. Need more traction and handling to power through snow, slush, and ice? Our Light Truck/SUV Studless Ice & Snow and Light Truck/SUV Studdable Winter/Snow tires are engineered for maximum traction to keep you in control against the worst winter weather. Whatever your truck needs, count on Tire Rack to have the right winter tires to keep you moving.

The average longevity of truck tires can widely vary, depending on the tire manufacturer, model, size, construction, and performance category of the tires. Tire tread wear can also be impacted due to road conditions, driving habits, climate, and frequency of maintenance. With proper care, some truck tires can last anywhere between 6 to 10 years, offering mileage warranties between 50,000 to 80,000 miles on average, though this is not guaranteed.

The difference between light truck tires and standard load truck tires comes down to construction. Standard truck tires are made using more flexible rubber materials and lighter construction, delivering a more comfortable ride suited for everyday commuters. These truck tires are available in load ranges of either B or C, which can carry lighter loads.

Light truck tires, on the other hand, offer more robust construction that features thicker plies, reinforced sidewalls, and heavier materials such as steel belts under the tread. The heavy-duty construction of light truck tires increases their durability and puncture resistance, making these tires better suited for heavy hauling, towing, and rugged off-road driving. With such reinforced strength, light truck tires also offer a higher load-carrying capacity, typically featured in load ranges C, D, E, and F.
