Wheels are great. My daughter curbed on in a road construction site 2 weeks after getting them, but it still held up like a champ. It isn't so pretty any more, but it's round and holds air.
TPMS sensors are sketchy tho. I used an Autel hand held and they were very tough to read. I finally got all 4 and did the OBD programming... which was fine for 2 weeks. Then it was constant TPMS error. No amount of deleting and re-adding would fix it. I don't think it's the car, because when we put the winter wheels back on (OEM sensors) they read and programmed just fine.
These silver-color painted 5-spoke wheels, for my light color vehicle, in my opinion, is quite perfect. I think it’s a natural design fit. First, it’s the silver color — the classic “magnesium” or “mags” appearance. It’s visually pleasing for any vehicle but especially for light colored vehicles. I think the other options of dark or black or brushed-metal-bright-over-black design is just a fad, just too many of those. Second, the 5-spoke is genuine, classic, automotive styling. I think the other newer multi-spoke and fancy swirls are, again, just a passing fashion — a collective illusion where more and more manufacturers think people want them. Maybe people don’t really know what they want. Lastly, the particular design lines in the Type 19T are timeless and sporty. Again, all this is just my opinion. But together with good tires, and I get an awesome, natural, “set of wheels” that’s my daily drive. I’m very glad and proud to own them.
