Great wheels and service from Tire Rack. The original wheels are 20” for the AMG; however, the ride is rough and too many potholes would kill tires and the wheels would deform leaving a rough ride. These 18 “ wheels look great and give a smooth ride without compromising much on the sport performance and feel.
So...I looked at all wheels available for my HONDA ACCORD through TIRERACK and by far liked this design the best. They are sleek and sporty and also appear very high quality out of the box. Furthermore, they look way better on my car than I expected which is the most important part in my opinion. Here�s my gripe...and it�s NOT with the manufacturer but with TIRERACK. It turns out that wheels with a slanted spoke are almost always �non directional.� What this means is that the manufacturer only makes one cast- for this style wheel. More specifically what this means for YOU the consumer is that the wheel slant points one direction on the driver side but points the opposite direction on the passenger side. To clarify- when you view one side of the car the wheel slant points in a certain direction on both wheels, but when you view the other side of the car the slant points in the OPPOSITE direction on both wheels. More simply put- it appears the wheels are turning in opposite directions on one side of the car vs. the other. Now... I can live with this because A: the wheels were a great price. B: an outsider viewing the car only notices the slant of the wheels when the car is stopped. And C: an observer can only view a car one side at a time so nothing appears out of the ordinary. HOWEVER!- I can find nothing in the wheel description or elsewhere that clearly states these wheels are �non directional.� Had it been CLEARLY stated by TIRERACK my wheel choice MAY have been different. I will also take some blame myself for not researching quite thoroughly enough before finalizing my purchase, but it seems to me that the average consumer such as myself would not uncover this dilemma very easily. Overall I am still happy with TIRERACK and their professionalism:) JUST BE AWARE...these wheels are �NON DIRECTIONAL!�
