I have 4 sets of the Konig Hypergram wheels for my endurance racing Miata. Narrows sets for rain and wider for dry. I have different tire manufacturers on them due to racing organization sponsorship requirements.
Hypergrams are light weight and very durable. They withstand the rigors of 8 hour and longer races without a concern. They look great on the car too. Installed on a 2022 MX-5 Miata with V730 245/45/17s. I'm lowered on Roadstersport springs, and have ~3 degrees camber front, ~2.5 rear, and rear brake line relocation done. Fitment is tight, some fender liner rubbing happens in turns. I was only able to get 6 turns on the lug nuts when mounting the wheels. Since these are track duty wheels for me, I swapped all my wheel studs out with extended studs to be safe.
For track duty, if you want to be on the pointy end of the field, I think this is as large as you can go without doing major fender/clearance work.
I was going for weight reduction. Old wheels were 23.75 lbs. new Kong 17x8 are 16.35 lb. Almost 7 1/2 lbs lighter.
The vehicle is much more light footed now. It accelerates quicker , turns in a little sharper, and dances over bumps that used to be much harsher.
