The very low tire profile of the stock 19" wheels made using the vehicle in the city sort of problematic.
I found the BBS SX line to look the most Audi-like, if you will, and ordered a set of 18" fitted with Continental Extremecontact DWS 06 plus tires. They arrived at the local Firestone mounted and balanced. All that really needed doing was adjusting the tire pressure per the manufacturer instructions for front and rear.
They look great, if not quite as aggressive as the 19"s. They handle just fine for everything from running errands to moderately spirited country road driving. The fellow who assisted me (Jim, I think) was super helpful on the technical details, and sorting out the local connections. Very happy overall!

I needed new wheels for my summer tires on my Audi S5. I chose BBS SX in anthracite to complement my metallic gray coupe. I have owned BBS wheels in the past and appreciate the quality and durability of their products. These new ones did not disappoint. The color match is perfect being neither black or aluminum in color. My mechanic installed them and related to me that two of the wheels required no balancing weight at all and the other two needed very little. The classic and not so trendy design of the SX design adds to the go-fast and look good features of the S5.
