These looked great, but.....I had to return them to Tire Rack. Three out of 4 were drilled off center which caused a horrible vibration. Kudos to TR South Bend for the outstanding customer service though. I went with some Enkei's , much better but there is still a faint vibration from one wheel, minimized by rotating it to the back.. The factory wheels roll silky smooth @ 80mph, so I know it's a wheel issue still. No more budget wheels for me. OZ's or BBS from here on out. Tired of chasing vibrations. Thank heavens I live near the South Bend shop.
1st set of this rim was flat black for winter tire use. Love the look & performance. Liked it so much the following spring I purchased the chrome accent black model. They are a great preforming affordable rims! Purchased mine w/ mounted tires. Tire Rack is the best! Mine needed & included spacer rings & lugs which all parts arrived undamaged and ready to install. The only slight negative is for cleaning. The looks of this rim outweigh that and I highly recommend this as a VW Golf option.
The finish began oxidizing after first winter. Wheels looked so bad I had to plasti dip them. I can't afford to replace. I wish there was a quality wheel that can with stand the elements of nature for more than two years. I would check to have the warranty replace them but having repainted em I'm sure it voided them.
