(Verified Purchase)
Bought a wheel/tire combination for a BMW X1 XDrive35i. Old OEM wheels were beat up, at least one too much to balance perfectly. I'm really pleased with the Borbet Type Y wheels. The matte titanium looks great on the mineral gray car. I think the new wheels look less frilly and more sporty and aggressive than the OEM wheels - without looking like an obvious aftermarket swap. Although I was completely unable to get any information about this before making the purchase, I was happy to see that my OEM BMW wheel caps fit the Borbets perfectly.
This car is designed for run-flats, which just don't quite ride as nicely as good regular tires. But with the included road force balancing the Michelin Primacy MXM4s feel as smooth as glass compared to the old tires.
My only minor complaint, noted in other reviews, is that the Borbets have a huge label of part/manufacturing info or whatever, on the outside of the wheel right below the tire valve. Other wheels, including the OEMs, my have a discreet digit or three, but this is a paragraph. I think it cheapens the otherwise excellent appearance of these wheels. But I'm sure few if any other people will ever notice.
All in all, very satisfying purchase.
