Wheels look great. 8 instead of a 10 because they are easy to scratch. While installing one it fell facedown onto hard packed snow and came away with a mark. As I'm using them for snows I know they'll likely get more damage and for the price I can't really complain.
16x7 - When ordered for my VW Alltrack, these came with the correct hub bore (57.1mm) - no centering rings required. They are drilled for ball-seat lug bolts, so the normal OE lug bolts on the car work fine - no need to buy a set of cone seat bolts like other aftermarket wheels. This wasn't why I bought the wheels, but it was very convenient :)
Wow, what an amazing difference in ride quality and acceleration. Went from heavy 19� diameter wheels down to a lighter weight 18� wheel and the vehicle is much more smooth over bumps as the shocks don�t have to work as hard at keeping the tires planted. The Borbet Y spoke wheel looks amazing on my black wag. Couldn�t be happier! Thanks Tire Rack!
For the price, I dont think there's many wheels that look as nice as these without being ricey and are as high quality as the Borbet Y. I have a bright yellow ford focus, and the dark grey wheels looks very good against the bright color, and I also haven't had any problems with potholes and wheel damage, and there are some pretty severe potholes around where I live. Overall, I would greatly recommend these wheels as they look good and are high quality, and won't leave you broke after you get them. Plus they came with all the hardware I needed, so thats always a plus
I was looking for an inexpensive wheel to be used as a winter wheel, so I downsized to allow for additional sidewall and pothole protection. I was also looking for a wheel that wouldn't require centering rings or different lugbolts and these wheels checked all the blocks.
Only time will tell how well these hold up but one can certainly feel the comfort of the additional sidewall. So far, so good.
They look good and are easy to clean.
I upgraded my factory steel wheels to these. I went with the 16*7 size so I could use the factory tire size. I was tempted to go with larger wheels then what comes from the factory but the roads near me can be harsh so I was concerned with ride quality and damage from pot holes.
Very happy with the results. The wheels look great. The color was a little bit lighter then what I expected based on photos online but still happy with the way they look. Really recommend them as a good looking affordable set of wheels.
I love the look of these wheels on my Bolt. The OEM wheels, even the Premier version, are bland and flat. Mine in particular on the LT model, are super bright silver color - yech. For once a great looking set of wheels available in graphite/gray for my car! I undersized them to 16" for some Michelin X-ICE winter tires - 205/60-16 to give me a little more sidewall flex. This is especially noticeable on my Bolt; the OEM tires and rims provide a pretty harsh, rather unforgiving ride over rough roads. I love the change that the tires/wheels made to my car. For a slight penalty in steering response I gained much more comfort. I'm honestly not sure if it is the tires or undersized wheels, or both; but I love the end result, especially with the coming potholes.
While the dimensional "Y" spoke facets are what attracted me to the wheels over my flat OEM wheels, My only slight regret is the fact that the wheels bulge beyond the tire by like 1/16". If I had purchased the 215/55-16 tires, I probably wouldn't have had to worry as much about curb rash on my new wheels.
I was hoping to pick up another set for summer tires; but I see they're already sold out!
