Had these probably 2 years when the clear coat started peeling on one wheel. Other three look great, but that 4th looks terrible. Only a one year warranty on finish so either buy a new one or live with it.
The push through hubs for this rim began rusting right away. Completely unacceptable and very disappointing. Reached out to Customer Service to see if there was a replacement item that wouldn't start rusting the first time it got wet. I was offered an upgrade of "AMERICAN RACING AR901 STAINLESS STELL PUSH THROUGH 2PC CAP, which cost me an additional $15 per cap as the price differential for replacing the rusted caps. Hoping this fix will last.
Generally like the way the rims made the truck look.
The wheels/snow tires were packaged very well and arrived as promised. After unwrapping the wheels I inspected them before putting on a coat of carnauba wax. I have an older set of American Racing wheels on my summer tires and I have been very happy with them so I decided to stay with AR for my winter set. As expected the wheel fit and finish is very good and the machined finish looks nice on my black truck. It also came with a set of new lug nuts and even a new socket to use. My only complaint is that the rivets around the wheel makes it difficult to get all of the wax out of the nooks and crannies. Tire Rack was easy to work with and Austin answered all of my questions as I put together my wheel and snow tire package.
I ordered these wheels and received them quickly. Over all the wheels are really nice except the center caps are plastic which I didn't know. So when I got them I wasn't to happy when I opened them up and two center caps where cracked to the point I couldn't put them on.
I get compliments on these wheels ALL the time. At least a few times a week. All my friends ask me about them. Only downside I have had is the clear coat is starting to rub off after a decade, half expected for keeping it outside all the time. I might order a second set for the summer.
