I purchased these wheels as part of a winter set for our ‘24 Camry SE AWD. The Camry SE was born with 18” wheels and 235/45R18 tires. This is not a good combination for winter. I prefer the smallest available wheel diameter for snow tires, as this really minimizes the chance of rim damage. As a plus, the 16” diameter provides a better ride. Because of the high positive offset the Camry has, finding an aftermarket wheel that looks right is not easy. Many wheels have their wheel center protrude beyond the rim edge, which only looks right on the front of a dually pickup truck. The Sparco Terra 16x7 ET 45 wheels with 225/60R16 Blizzaks fit perfectly on the car, and look right for the purpose. I removed the SPARCO stickers from the face of the wheels, as they are a bit over the top on a Camry.
Purchased for a company vehicle in +2” sizing, expecting to sacrifice acceleration and probably braking performance & wear, by moving all that mass further from the axle. Instead the dramatic decrease in weight from OE metal wheels and hub caps, to the lightweight Sparco All Terrain, makes the van feel like there’s helium in the tires. I have barely touched this set of brake pads and the ride, and particularly handling, are measurably improved
Aesthetic-wise they do exactly what I hoped, drawing smiles and positive comments at gas stations, and setting us apart on job sites
These bend very easily. I have two that are bent. Never hit anything except expansion joints around Washington, DC. Like the way they look. I'm on 18s but with a 45 profile. No reason these should bend that easy. Never had this happen on any of the other cars with similar profile tires and driven on the same roads.
I installed these on my 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport, which normally has 18" wheels. Tire Rack doesn't list them as an option for the Sport trim, but they fit very well without requiring modifications. (And FWIW, Tire Rack called me about fitment before shipping.) I wanted to size-down because roads are poorly maintained where I live. These are one of the few options for 16" wheels that clear the Sport trim's brakes and retain an offset similar to OEM.
Functionally speaking, acceleration feels quicker and handling is very light compared to the heavier OEM wheels. People seem to either love or hate the look. I think they look cool but they admittedly are a little bit of a style-mismatch for the 5th gen Impreza. On the down-side, the logo is just stickers, and they apparently come off in a car wash - that's a real annoyance if you don't hand-wash your car. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Sparco Terras for the Impreza Sport if you absolutely must have 16" wheels.
