I’m very pleased with the MSW Type 50 wheels. The wheels and the gloss black finish are high quality, the fitment is perfect and the stance of the X5 on this wheel and tire package is fantastic. The wheels look identical to a BMW wheel — at a fraction of the price. While I’m pleased with the product, delivery was delayed because the TireRack rep recorded the delivery address incorrectly. I was then offered some form of make-good, but there was no follow through. Final assessment: Excellent product. An experience that was not up to TireRack’s usual standard.
These wheels fit so much better with my Daytona Gray paint than the stock "aero" RS wheels which were in a light gray/silver color. The MSW Type 50's design is clean and simple but still striking (great balance, I would say). The offsets ended up working great with my car. The wheels might even be slightly more aggressive in their stance versus stock but nothing that would compromise ride quality or impede the suspension travel.
Made my RDX look 10 times better! The quality and price of the rims are definitely unbeatable. Having had the rims for around 7 months I've had no issues even after hitting some pretty big pot holes. Do keep in mind I had to get new tpms sensors so if you have an RDX and are considering this you probably will need to get new tpms sensors to get it to work with these rims.
